Howdy from Texas! I am a noob and only just beginning to get on foil with the wing, so please take my advice with that in mind. I saw you start to pump the board at 01:35. This pumping of the board I think is even more critical than pumping the wing. I find that if there is wind in my wing and I only pump my board to engage the foil, it will lift and fly. Of course the wind has to be at least 12 knots for me. I know you went out in very light wind. Save your days in the water for good wind (15 knots or better). Btw, I have the Allvator X-Over XL 1900cm and HIPE 6', and 6m F-One wing. I am 86kg.
We are practically twins 🤣 The condition tomorrow is perfect 15 knots or more, so I will go out with you advise in mind, and try to focus more about the board, thank you very much, and happy surfing to you 🙏👍🏄🏼♂️
@@flyingfootage 😅Best of luck tomorrow! 🤞🤙More weight distributed to your front foot and less on the back foot may also help. I know, too much information/overload! Just have fun!
@@flyingfootage what is your current foil, the x-over? You will not fly earlier or easier with the curve. I also learned on the X-over you don't need much speed to fly with it, maybe try to place it a bit forward in the box. My current foil is the fluid, compared to the x-over you need more speed and a better feeling for the foil to take off.
sorry i forget the foil you have already I would say you need a xxl to get going in mid winds 15mph or a xl in 18mph to 20 mph at least to learn any lighter its so hard to get the board speed fast enough to fly . when you go faster pull wing hard and lift your body weight off the board as much as you can , its just time on the water i used a xover for 9 months until i could gybe then swapped to curve . try a few days close together time on the water is main thing
