Great size for 2 relatively slight people. Otherwise a big “pass” until their larger models come available. Also note that buying one of these is very much of an “a la carte” experience, everything is extra. The out the door price will be significantly higher than base MSRP.
@@arisdaddy2001 To be fair at one of the shows the configured model they showed was £145,000 And the one i configured without all the useless stuff removed costs : Selected set-up £ 85.581 || 2.845 Kg * so its actually not bad, but i agree with you. All those extras and there is ALOT OF THEM that it makes picking/choosing absolutely rediculous. Especially if its basic stuff like a shower floor cover (£400).. ?? What is it made from gold?
lots of questions are unanswered: why isn't there any solar panels? what is the capacity of batteries? is there a air heater? is there a water heater for shower? what are the capacities of fuel tank, clean water tank and grey water tank?
I love it (the fibreglass body being the deciding factor. They need a proper site to explain all those options though, preferably with a native english speaker as well. Otherwise brilliant. Love these small design campers/ city life livers.
LOOOVVEEEE IT! I have known the 540 some time now and never saw anything better since. Expensive yes but it would be the first thing i 'd buy winning the lotery. Would be perfect for us, family of 3. Love everything about it.
I love it! Just tell me where I can get it and take my money! Actually I prefer the rectangular table I saw in the demo much more than the oval which takes away too much space. I would change out the cassette toilet for a laveo dry flush. But I love the large dinette (with rectangular table!!!!!), the drop-down bed and the large bathroom. American made RVs make the bathrooms way too small. This is an amazing interior for a small RV. The 20 ft would be on par with the Travato, but keeping in mind the huge camper van market that is just solo or a couple, could you use that extra space to put in an additional work area, like a desk area and chair with plug ins. Many van users work from their van and need two separate work areas. LOVE the dinette. Please take away that oval table and leave the rectangular one! Love the option for fabric seats, the leather is just too hot. Thanks for offering something other than the same two floor plans Winnebago is stuck on.
i did not see a generator or solar. I think a larger refrigerator should be placed on the left side of the counter and a fold up table be on the right side to get more counter space. I have seen another RV like this where the fold down bed has the cabinets attached to the base, making the bed a queen vs a full. Otherwise it is an excellent design. If it was cheaper it would be on my list. You can replace the family car with this. A great choice. A food and a half longer than my Cadillac.
Yea, I saw the bed connected to cabinets on a British Motorhome channel too (not available for the North American market). Burstner or something like that.
Rig like this is more for city driving and parking, plus maneuverability. I think there is definitely a market for this though. What would you get for 145k???
@@NeonCab I'd have me a military MCC and then deck it out the way I want it cuz it's a 6x6 not a 4x4 even better. I can have everything done the way I want it then and I'll still come in at less than $75,000. And who wants to drive an RV in town? In America We like to be able to go off and get away from it all and be in the wilderness and enjoy the peace and quiet so even if it's not a 4x4 we still like being off grid with our solar panels. I could really do it easy and get a four-wheel drive ambulance It's already got the built-in shelves I just need to have them tweak it to the way I want it so I have a bed and a bathroom and a fridge. Just add in the solar panels and the converter and good to go. And the thing about the military vehicles and an ambulance they make sure they're very very safe as in rollover five or six times and still keep everybody inside okay. Yeah that's a nice motor home but you can get more than that for that price. They're coming to America with a motorhome wanting us to buy and not giving us the options we need and want in America would be like us Americans trying to go to Italy and sell them pasta. We have no clue how they like it what they want we would have to adapt we'd have to bring on locals They need to do that.
@@anlewi1 almost all the optionals you mention are available, including the solar panel. The point of this vehicle is its quality. You don't need yachting quality and are OK with a squeaky large RV driving like an 18 wheeler and guzzling gas, nobody has a problem. You want something more nimble and enjoyable in narrow spaces, that you drive and park like any pick up, this is it. Besides, it is not mandatory to buy one. It's an european vehicle: well made, economic to run, packed with technology, and not cheap.
@@ilmaio let me know when that thing can go off-roading to places where you can totally be off the grid for extended periods of time. Till then I'm happy with my F-250 SD 4x4. I've looked at Ford 4x4 Super Cab ambulances that have been redone they're very nice and I can accomplish the same thing and the other is those command centers at the Army auction those are always good too. You don't get the kind of gas mileage and ambulance would but I can sure as it go off road a lot longer than I already do in a military vehicle. You got to see him to believe them on how nice they are.

The monocoque provides aeronautical class insulation, the cacabox won't freeze. The gray water tank would, if you don't purchase the optional extra coated+heated tank, to live in the camper with 20 C below outside. Remember you have a door and not a sliding wall...
5:00 almost perfect! Not a fan of the WET BATH! Small 19’ RV manufacturers need to design smart DRY BATH with separate toilet and shower using a swivel WALL (not plastic shower curtain). See the Roadtrek Pivot for this DRY BATH design. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Price is why I don’t go for these. I like the layout. I can’t gauge how small it is unless I see if for myself. Really the only thing I would rather have is a black tank toilet

It looks great.... but: Poor information about climate control, energy capacity, energy sources and full options. Is there a generator? Is there a grey water tank, and what is it's capacity? Is a Cinderella toilet a good idea and a possible option?
Its own strength is also its own weakness. Nice and compact, but it looks too much like an RV! Stealthiness goes out the window. Also, the US price is too high; it is sold for around $75,000 in Europe.
I can only wish and dream for one of these. Perfect for my two Shelties and me to travel to dog obedience trials. I would have to win the Publisher's Clearing House sweepstakes to acquire one of these.
It’s OK… I don’t really love it. In the sense that it looks like an RV. My van doesn’t look like an RV I don’t have ladders on it. You can’t even tell that someone’s living in it. Plus, I have solar panels on the top of my roof, which I don’t need a ladder to get to because I have a sunroof in my van I’d rather have a dry flush toilet other than what they’re have to offer. Drive flush toilets are so much easier just to pick up the bags in throw them out but with your system, you actually have to take a container out and dump it and then what happens if you have to you’re gonna have to Wash that container out so it doesn’t smell. Oh so much more work. I like the inside don’t get me wrong. I like that the bed comes down. I just wonder about the air conditioning unit which is on top of the unit. My air conditioner is inside. It’s not on top of my vehicle so my vehicle does not look like a sleeper van or RV. Easier to Boondock.
Ship or import it in some ASIAN country 🇵🇭 along with is technical and parts support. There might be a market for such a nice Campervan here in ASIA. Specially for those who have just retired from govt service.

Camper & vans in general are all 50K too expensive. All of them. You understand why this particular model is more expensive when you see one. Quality is yachting level, not automotive. Insulation is another level in compare with common vans. The Fiat platform runs easily 38 mpg, and can endure below zero temperatures thanks to the gasoil powered heater. And yes, still, it is 50K too expensive.
