@@ironcladchunk3633 I feel winnings are overrated tbh. The wide hand compartment might be the only plus in comparison to the Phenoms, but I personally like a glove that fits a little more snug, and not because I have small hands. I'm 6'3"-6'4". The winnings are a bit more soft and do have a better liner for drying. The Phenoms have better pop, feel, protection and look in my opinion. Personally, the best gloves for the price are the new Fialo "GIOs" they beat both of these.
@@jeffc7502 I use 16s to train as I'm floating around 200lbs. I like FIALOs because they feel like a luxury car on my hands. Winnings definitely have a unique feel but they are wide. I like that the FIALOs have room but still feel snug. They also have a thick grip bar, which I personally like because it gives you something to squeeze when you make a fist.
I have 12oz lace up SG 210s and have had them for about a year. Not heavily used but using exclusively now. The padding soften upped nicely and they are still very protective and balanced. I will let you know how long they last but so far they look almost brand new. Aside from some creases when I open up the palm they look excellent. I'd say buy them while the price is right.
If you take care of them they should last 2 to 3 years at a minimum I would think. But that also depends on the on the person as well. Some people hit way harder and or train way more than others
@@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667 they got good reviews generally and seem to be regarded highly. The winnings are too expensive for me plus you said they offer a bit more wrist protection (my wrists are bad as they are) plus I’m from the uk and got them for £150 so a bit of a discount 🙌
I love your channel bro . I appreciate the time and money you put into the vids. I was wondering which finger compartment is longer and which finger compartment is wider
Winning USA is normally wear i order them. But i have also ordered them through Bobsfightshop.com and Superare online store. Winning USA is usually the best as they would sell them at lowest possible purge price
neeeeded this comparison.. still can't decide if I should sell the 14oz lace up winnings i just bought and replace them with something cheaper/still high quality like the sg-210 or any other good option (suggestions?).. overall price matters but mostly im just looking for the best value for an all around training glove, would you recommend selling the winning and getting sg-210 (or something else) instead? thanks
I wouldn't sell my Winnings, but the Phenom SG-210 and the Fly Superlace X are excellent gloves in that price range. I'll make a comparison video and release it soon. But excellent gloves. keep your Winnings though. It is always good to have more than 1 pair of gloves. A pair for sparring and another pair for bag and mitt work
How durable is phenom 210 for bag work, mitt work and sparring? Some people say it lasts only a year for all around work.. what is your experience of using 210s?
It is very durable if you buy the lace up version. I saw a video where the velcro didn't last to long. But I will always recommend lace up and a pair of Lace N Loops over a velcro strap glove. They feel great on the bag too.
My Fly Superlace X in 12 ounces are probably the softest gives I own. Which is weird because the 14 ounce Suplerlace X are stiffer. Same thing with my premium Fly Superlace. They may even be softer. I did buy those 2 years ago so I don't know if the padding is still the same
can you review the rival guerrero sparring gloves please and then compare it to fly x? some people say that rival and phenom are somewhat similar too, maybe you could also look into that now that you have the best of phenom
I will in the future when I can start buying some Rival equipment. I have a lot of gear I need to buy for the channel and it gets expensive to say the least lol
Could you rank the fillowing , best to least favorite Adidas Tilt 350 Fly Superloop X Phenom Sg210s Rival Rs11v Hit n move all day balance For sparring and bag work All velcro versions
Maybe in the future I'll be able to. Right now that's going to be quite a bit of money to order all of those. I don't really buy velcro gloves either. I just don't like the way they feel compared to lace ups. It will take time before I can but all 5 of those gloves. Probably over 1000 dollars for all of those
