I had to come here because I just made wings in the basket and they were sooo good. You have to try mixing the wings (after drying them) with a couple tsps of baking powder, salt and pepper, and let them sit for 5 min. Then add some of that PC garlic parmesan oil and throw them in the basket to cook. Mine only took 30 min but I had some wimpy wings. The baking powder makes the wings extra crispy! I served mine with a drizzle of hot honey. So yummy!
I don’t even eat chicken but I love to watch you cook. I love how excited you get when it works. The people in your life are so blessed. Thanks for sharing your personality with the rest of us.
Teresa, you made my day. There are days when I struggle with all this, "Like what am I doing?!" and then other days, when someone like you pops around and makes me smile. Thank you!
I have done chicken wings in the air fryer a few times - haven't used the basket, but now I want to give it a try. However, when I use the trays I have only swapped them once during cooking and never turned the wings themselves and they have come out perfect every single time. Crispy and cooked to perfection!! I'll never cook them in the oven again - takes much less time in the fryer! Those sauces sound awesome!!
Yum... I find the rotisserie wings don't need any sauce. To date we have not put anything on them, but I am going to try your General Tso's sauce. Thank you.
I am so glad you tried this. I have been looking to see if anyone had done wings this way and what settings they used. Then a few days later you post this video! 😁 YAY Not going to lie it’s the whole reason I swapped out the air fryer I already had and loved for the pampered chef one. Thanks so much for reading my mind. Love your channel.
I almost went to the store and bought chicken wings for the Super Bowl last night but I did hamburgers and French fries in the DAF. Boy, they were better than a fast food place... trust me I worked in fast food for 21 years... I have a question, the PC manual calls for Baking soda in their wing recipe... I noticed you didn’t add any... why? Just curious.
Baking soda is alkaline and it helps brown the skin faster. But when I've used it and then forgot to use it, it made no difference to my wings. They look identical! So since I am wary about additives to my food anyway, I leave it out :)
Have you tried the rotisserie seasoning from Pampered Chef? It's pretty delicious! But if you aren't interested in that one, try Butter Steakhouse by Kinders! www.pamperedchef.com/pws/aecheather/shop/Pantry/Seasonings/Rotisserie+Seasoning/100513
