I briefly considered it at 5:28. I disagree that the Warbler was better than the Petrel for the R1 goal. Thanks to its star nest, Petrel was an immediate net 6 point play that worked toward the round goal, my bonus card, and it delivered 3 nectar to the Wetlands. The Warbler was a net zero-point play that only works toward the round goal. Looking at long term potential, I had a lot of good cards in my hand all game and I would not want to tuck them for the points, as this would only put me at great risk of *reducing* my card quality with each tuck. I would have likely skipped the Warbler's power on several occasions putting it far behind the instant scoring power of the Petrel. The warbler would need to tuck 7 cards before it outscored the Petrel (ignoring bonus cards). I played nearly every card I drew in this game, with the occasional unhelpful card being discarded for critical extra food or eggs. With regard to card drawing potential, two activations of the Petrel Wetlands results in 12 cards seen and 6 cards kept. The previously mentioned 7 tuck Warbler would lose 7 cards to draw 7 cards. To my eyes, all the math supports the Petrel play.

I dont think the warbler can be used for the EOR at that point at all, it's too late
