Im 47, Just started skating again ... Recently found an Eric Winkowski Deck at the Spring Valley Swapmeet in San Diego for $20 ... New Griptape, Independent Trucks and Slimeballs ... Everyone loves the build that sees it ... Bad A$$ Board
Day 1 Of Skateboarding And I Go 2 Paradise Valley Skatepark at 10am ... See this long hair guy shredding a larger board, Holy $H!t 😳 ... It Was Erick Winkowski Himself ... Recorded a little of him practicing and me being shocked seeing him ... P.s. He is a Chillaxer ...
Winkowski is my favorite skater, and I have the exact setup. But currently riding it with indystandards. Love it and skate it everyday everywhere. Keep up the amazing work
@@dereka415 Sweet, that is my exact setup. I have swapped my pivot cups and bushings for the ace ones. And since I ride them as loose as possible I use one 1/8 riser and one 1/4 riser with 1" 1/4 indy hardware. Edit: The 159's works really well with the wide slimeballs, and any other set of wheels, due to them not being fully 9" giving you a slight bit more wheel clearance when doing smith and feeble grinds. :)
I liked the ghost deck I had. I skated mine with 1/4" risers, 54mm 97a slimeball mini-vomits, ACE 66 trucks, Bronson Raws, with Jessup grip. It was fun while it lasted.
Loving the Andrew Cannon product challenges, I make the same grunts and groans when I'm skateboarding too! Now if only I had a big a bag of tricks as Andrew Cannon...
I have that deck hanging on my wall right now! Just cause of the graphic I also have that shirt in white!!! Btw I met you Andrew at dew tour SLC in 2010!!! I have got your autograph framed!!
The huge challenge of this prob made it the best one yet...what a great workout as well. Thanks for showing off this board of which I'm a huge fan. Look forward to more vids, peace
i really hope santa cruz reissues this graphic one day - i have the primeval 8.8 vx and the primval thrasher, both of which are prob my fav decks to skate atm, but this first green version of the primeval graphic is so freaking cool. pls bring it back one day! the new primordial looks like its gonna be cool too though, but this og primeval is just.. omfg. definitely one of my fav graphics ever
Do your wheels extend out past the deck and if so do you ever trip up while cruising around? I just got a 10.5 hammerhead and going with 60mm-90a rat bones and don’t want to buy the wrong trucks.
been riding this shape for like a year now never going back to popsicles i love this shape the only thing is that they more expensive than any other board:(
Hello, I am 30 years old and wanting to learn how to skate. I like the shape and design of this board but I am not sure if this shape and board style is best for learning. Do you think you could learn on a board like this or should I start with a normal traditional shaped board?
Why dont you just skate the deck appropriately? Like stop wasting time with flips and do some fat grinds on the trans??? IMO not the point of that set up. Pointless .Hit some slappies......
Totally understand where you are coming from when judging the trick selection based off the board but that is the point of these videos. We do, or try, whatever comes out of the bin. We will throw slappies in there.
It's just what happened to be picked. I'm sure there were other tricks in there that you're hoping for. Really pointless comment. And Eric does flip tricks with that board.
