Yes, agreed: 16/17 was mixed, but we did beat Sevilla and reached the QFs of the Champions League: these were my special memories of the "season after". I suppose in retrospect N'Golo Kante had gone and the team was not equipped to cope with battling on the two fronts together - it was weaker, just when it needed to be stronger. @@karltrueman4103

He shouldn't have gone down like that, it was weak. Hopefully that will be corrected in the dressing room, I know he's only a youngster. The league is tough, he needs to be tougher. Draw the foul but stand your ground.

@@Oddball_KellysHeroes True, the desire by the defender to hurt him was too great so he couldnt resist that immediate reaction. That action taken by the defender would tick anybody off but the pushing on his opponent wasn't necessarily. Such actions can easily ruin his career, especially with all those racist EPL officials. Fortunately, this referee was a bit modest.

Ok people, feet on the ground please! If you watched the game in full an often used word in the commentary was ‘sloppy’ and we were. We didn’t have our usual rhythm and QPR disrupted us a bit and certainly didn’t look like the cannon fodder you might have expected from their table position. They set up to make it difficult for us to get between the lines and were largely successful. Mavididi’s goal was deflected so a tad lucky on that one but failing to clear the ball adequately gave them the equaliser. Our Possession is good but we do have a tendency for a loose pass which is frustrating. Superb Winks goal no more than he deserves for his his work this season. Never nice to see a manager get sacked though. One final thought, Stephy, can you just please smile a bit!!
