WINNER - EVERYD4Y 2nd STUDIO ALBUM LISTENING / REACTION (& LIVES!) 

Yup..when we say that WINNER is versatile artists and loves to experiment with different music genres.. THIS IS THE PROOF. They’re not afraid to go outside their comfort zone and because there are 3 different composers (Yoon, Mino, and Hoony) they all discover new sounds or ways to make each other shine. There are some songs Yoon composed that sound like songs Mino or Hoony would compose. There are some ballad or mid-tempo like ballads that you may think is Yoon composed song, but it’s actually Mino or Hoony. Ohh and some cute little fun tidbits about some of the songs on this album. Yoon was inspired to compose “Air” because ICs gave him an air diffuser as a present. Yep..little things like that inspires Yoon to make such amazing songs. Mino composed and dedicated “Have A Good Day” to former LADIES CODE member EunB/high school friend who passed away in 2014 along with another LADIES CODE member Rise in such a tragic car accident. WINNER also had some really precious interactions with them during debut era. Mino was very affected by her death and well this song was born from that. 🥺 There’s also a saying we ICs came up with, WINNER actually has 4 vocalists and 4 rappers. Honestly, Yoon and Jinwoo have the ability to rap and Yoon has rapped before and covered Hoony/mino’s part incredibly well. As you saw, Mino and Hoony can also sing very well too. They’re literally EVERYTHING… AN AVENGER KIND GROUP! It’s not fair! But at the same time we’re so lucky to have WINNER.

WINNER‘s “Have A Good Day” is a song written and composed by Mino, and all signs point to it being a memorial song for Ladies’ Code member and high school classmate EunB.

OMG! I don't know where to start 🥹 I love all WINNER albums but this album will always have a special place in my heart 💙💙💙 Honestly, where else can you see a group who release albums that do not have a B-side sounding song? Like all of their songs are potential title track 😍 I totally agree with you, I love the bright songs of WINNER but their moody songs just get me everytime. How dare they make us extremely happy and sad at the same time 😩🥹 Btw, the last 2 songs on the album were written by our rappers. Hoony wrote Raining while Mino wrote Have a Good Day. The reason why Have a Good Day has that vibe that makes you want to listen to it in silence is because Mino wrote this song for his old friend who passed away in an accident. You are right. These boys are really tall. Sometimes they look like they have the average idol height because they wear loose clothes. But when they wear those fitted outfits especially one that emphasizes their legs, they'll be looking like models. This is actually the reason why they debuted with an expensive, model-like concept. They all have the visuals and height.

Im so happy you get to listen to For. It’s my all time favorite winner song, so underrated and I hope they have promoted this more. Their vocal prowess just shines through. This entire album is just gold. What I like about Yoon as a composer is he knows what each member’s voice is and he comes up w a part and melody for them that suits their voice. He is such a genius and selfless composer, he makes sure that each member’s vocal shines through. On a sidenote, i love it when Yoon and Mino compose somg together, For and Different are such classics of their. Im hoping they wrote more songs like this.

Hello 💙 thank you so much for reacting to this album, Everyd4y is my most favourite WINNER album until this day, their recent mini album Holiday is my second most favourite album apart from this, but yes Everyd4y has such a special place in my heart, that album is just so beautiful, the lyrics & instrumentals are intricately woven together to give such an elegant sound, like this album is just so aesthetic so pleasing to the ears & I'm so glad that you reacted to it, please react to their other albums as well, especially their recent release Holiday, trust me it's really good and you'll definitely love it. It's hard for me to personally pick a favourite song from Everyd4y 😂 like how do you chose when all the tracks are so good, but I do love their ballads a lot so I'd pick For, We Were, Raining & Have a good day as my favourites. Hello! watching your reaction and yes, they are tall. They're always listed as one of the groups who's actually taller than the average kpop idols. They usually tower others wherever they go too! Hoony is the tallest and Jinu who's considered cute and small when four of them together is actually 5'10.

Ahh I love this..! Btw, Yoon and Hoony are from Busan.. My favorites on this album are We Were and For but I like all of them too.. All of their Bsides are the same quality as their title tracks right? It's like Everyday is a treasure map and all that Bside is the treasure!

First thing...your smile is sooooo pretty. Your voice & accent too. It's really nice to hear. . . Secondly thank you for doing the whole album. Winner are such gems truly. And you said it so right, the people who are sleeping on Winner (probably bcuz they don't have the typical eye candy visuals or bcuz they don't do hardcore chores) they have no idea what they're missing. This kind of quality can't be manufactured, unlike some. . . Holiday is definitely worth doing a whole album listening. You'll enjoy every song. Also their earlier albums; We, Cross, Remember. . . Lastly, after you heard their song Hello in this album you mentioned how great it would be if a girl group did a response song to it. Well, there is such an instance that involves Winner. In 2018, Blackpink's Jennie put out her first solo song called 'Solo'. This song is basically about the girl realizing that she's being better off without her ex-boyfriend. In 2021, Yoon released his first solo album Page which includes a song called 'Better' which Yoon wrote as a response song to 'Solo'. Yoon said in his interview that he was inspired by the song 'Solo' to write a response song from the standpoint of the ex-boyfriend. When you think of a response song to 'Solo' anyone would think in a particular direction but Yoon went in a very different direction. 'Solo' had me feeling all sassy & strong feminine confidence, then 'Better' had my heart melting. Only Yoon couldve pulled this off. His song 'Better' also features Mino with a rap part Mino wrote for Yoon's song. They work so well together. I really hope you can do a video on this. The best experience would be hearing 'Solo' & then 'Better'. . . Anyway I'm always looking forward to the next Winner content. Have a good day!

Omg HOLIDAY IS HEALING tbh!! It really is up there with EVERYD4Y album!! Maybe for me, takes the top spot for favorite WINNER album. They do switch it up in HOLIDAY..while still keeping some old school WINNER in it. But the songs…hit home literally!! You’ll see when you listen to them, but the exploring their music shouldn’t stop at HOLIDAY…you still have their debut album, the REMEMBER album, and a couple mini albums + Mino and Yoon solo albums to check out! Also, there’s a few Mino x Yoon collab songs too that is worth checking out and they have performed it in concerts. 🥰

Well, you have heard one of their longest album beside Remember. So, it's definitely will be easier (or shorter??) to have other album reaction. First of all, thank you so much for reacting to this amazing album. Okay, this is gonna be a long comment. First, Winner is a very very talented group. Every song in this album are made by the members. Yoon: Everyday, Air, La La, For, We were, Luxury, Movie Star, Mino: Hello, Turn off the light, Have a good day Hoony: Special night, Raining Yoon is their main producer, hence most of their songs are made by him. This is not for comparing members, I love them all equally and they're all talented. But knowing which member made what song helps us understand unique sound each members have. 18:43 Well they are tall for Asian. Three of them are slightly above 180 cm, and jinu is 178 or 179 cm which is tall as well. For Raining and Have a Good Day, the original released were actually the Japanese one. Both are included in Fate No 4 single album (Really2 and Fool ) Japan Edition and topping on Oricon chart (like the Japanese Billboard) despite being a B track. So they "translate" it and putting it on Winner next album (Everyday). After listening to them in Japanese for millions of time, I remember feeling kinda "weird" when I heard the Korean version for the first time, lol. My other favorite Winner songs that have calm/ballad/rnb vibe: Color Ring, Different, Well, OMG, Don't be shy, Boom, and everything in the recent Holiday album: ILU, Holiday, Family, 10 min, little finger, and absolute fave Sweet Home. For live performance, You Have To Watch their performance in University Festivals. Winner is THE ONLY boy group that was invited in uni festival this year which opened again after Covid. Artists that mostly invited are rookie girl groups that’re currently hype or famous solo artists. That's a big flex. Psy said, you’ll know how popular you are if you’re invited in Korean uni festivals and uni festivals rarely invite boy groups. That’s how well perceived winner is in SK, they’re famous as a trust and listen group. I also doubt Raining composed by Hoony was a title song for I album or E album. Hoony once said Raining was written in 2014, or 2015.
