Finally! Been hoping for your review on these two. At their price points, really competes directly with your Binky. Hope other reviewers can compare them directly. Also hope you do the Ziigaat Arete soon!
I bought the cincotres as my introduction to the hobby. I initially hated it, but after coming back to it i realized I wasnt getting a good seal. After an ear tip swap it came alive and i fell in love with my music all over again.
Wow man! How you give reviews to all these competitors to your very well regarded Dunu DaVinci. I bought both the Doscinco, and Cincotres. I completely enjoy them.
@@kool_thing great question! I find I listen to the Cincotres more. I am listening to Queens of the Stone Age right now, the Cincotres are great for slow rock, the bass on the Doscincos IS spectacular! The Cincotres are my daily drivers lately, and they are fantastic with bass also. I feel the Cincotres has a slightly better sound stage, electric guitars are little more crisp and more bite. For Atarashii Gakko! (J-pop) which I have been playing a lot lately, Fly High just hits with the Cincotres. Do some more research. I feel both the Ziigaat Cincotres, and Doscincos are well worth your hard earned money. 😇 (I have no remorse at adding them both to my collection.)
do you find Cincotres a studio reference IEM with a bit fun tuning? I'm planning on buying one coming from Aful Performer 5.. also planned on using them for mixing and mastering and likey for music production..
I already have the Doscino and love them. Was looking to add another, similar, IEM but with a bit "more" to it. Cincotres or Hype 4? I love my bass, but I've heard that the Hype 4 is a better IEM. Is it £100 better? Or is the Cincotres the better out of the two, for the money?
Just get a pair of legatos for fun sound with lots of bass. 100 bucks and a great listen. It's not perfect, it's a bit muddy. It's a lot of fun, lots of booms lots of rumblys and crispy highs. Great build, should fit everybody mostly... When I want bass I either crank up the bass on my edition xs or listen to legatos lol I also just got a pair of pula pa02 and they are excellent just not as fun as legatos
@@chancemackey7100agreed! I love the legatos! Do you happen to have the Dosinco? I was wondering they're an upgrade on the legato when I saw reviewers saying they're bassy.
I have a Xenns Top and just got the new Ziigaat Arete (3rd twin of the cinco bros) and I will say it's the perfect money saving alternative to the Top. They are pretty damn close, the Arete might even beat it ever so slightly in the sound stage and technicals department. With that said the Top has better bass and more enveloping treble and is overall more musical while the Arete could be seen as more analytical.
Sigh, I just can't afford this hobby, I mean I'm basically ChiFi with the hobby but I feel like im missing out on the "good" sound, even though what I hear with the IEMs I can afford sound good to me
I thought the same and bought the xelento2, and honestly, the value curve goes down the more you spend. Dont get me wrong they sound absolutely amazing, but its just to squeeze out that last 10%, its not a jump from like good 20$ vs good 100$ in. At least to my ears, other IEM owners may disagree.
Hi Tim, would you like some contract work for a new gaming company? I invented the Scuf controller now I've re invented mobile gaming. I want your help with audio! We are Puk Gaming all will know us soon!
The ONLY thing I hate about these is those hex glitters in the faceplate. Don't get me wrong, I love that style of glitter but you can literally find those in $8 drugstore nail polish. Let's up the materials used a bit
@AliR03 I was thinking about hybrid sets mainly. But I'll compare with Origin here. Origin has very good treble and lively vocals. I'd say better midrange than cincotres and doscinco. But both of those are easily better in the bass and cincotres is on par with origin in the treble.
