I'm fortunate to be 35 and have grown up in East London and Essex when the grime scene started I moved out the ends at 21 and pushed the genre tough and still do (more the artists of old that have kept up as the music's evolved) To write a comment on a podcast years later is a proud moment watching the peers around my area as big men now from youths is inspiring This started without the Internet and all the apps. The youngsters will never fully understand this achievement my peers created a whole genre 👏🏽😎💯 will never know being as young as 14/15 getting the tape ready hitting that record button on your stereo making sure the aerial set right and your on time for the set I tried and failed the mc thing but never lost my passion for it and the talent we have produced is elite world level and were told they would fail Just normal brothers that were able to grab the bag .. The ones I always felt would make it out did, huge props this is a great guest Jammer 100pc is a massive part of the scene and you guys a great podcast again I watch every episode.
Jammer aka Murkle Man needs more respect on his name. Especially due to all he has accomplished in his career and what he has/is doing for the Grime scene.
The classic lord of the mics are legendary. Earz vs stryder, Wiley vs Kano, bashy vs demon, skepta vs devilman. Still remember most bars after 15ish years lol.
gotta respect jammer like he said like him or not. lotm3 got me hooked on grime back in 2011 with j1 v merky ace and sox v kozzie. Legend in the game for everything hes done
He's a cringey awkward annoying guy, but he's part of the foundation Skepta v Devilman Scorcher v Narstie even though Scorcher punched up him &his mandem lol Not many man would've put that aside &let man through
Bless this man my dad and mum had to compromise to pull there thing this what they wanted for there kids it a shame the can't see the progress rip daddy 1992 mummy 2006
Yea durrty goodz is the best ever FACT but because he was a real road man ppl keep distance from him...... 1 wiley 2durty goods 3 d double e4 press T 5 devilman
Classical is a good listen to btw, i like that about jammer, im the same, cant just be listening to some of the junk that’s around nowadays, gotta mix n blend, my spotify goes from 90s music to 2000s to any fifa from the last 15 years, to bashment to 2010s or 2020s and i love that diversity and range💯
Always rated Jammer, great interview. You man need to hunt down Sniper E Must have a story to tell - Kung Fu Style was all over Channel U at the time 🔥🔥🔥
@@ng2313 Like I say ! Special Delivery - Sniper E, Red Rum, Bashy at the time of early grime was there and at the time Kung Fu Style was all over Channel U. Must have a story to tell 🤷🏾♂️
@@danewz6004 it may have been on channel u but the guy was shitm tried to get reloads on raves and they never came he even got booed off stage at an early Eskimo. If you rate him your lost
Sniper e was on grand designs a few years back. Him and his wife’s house was absolutely beautiful. Sniper was terrible in the booth, but on sets he won a few of his clashes.
Bro just a idea maybe put the advertisement mid video or at the end cus I’ve just skipped straight past it but if it’s mid convo wel be more inclined to listen
People saying let him talk more but he would have just talked and talked like sideman did Pounds got them good stories out of him I watched him on next pod and it was boring this was live
There can't be a top 5 grime mcs or even a top 10. Bet money your list will constantly get bigger cah you'll keep remembering bad boy mcs and add them in. Back when grime was a toddler there was way to many cold mcs to do a top 10. Big up everyone who moulded the scene from macabre unit to jammer to vader(Birmingham)
@@tonymckay8301 I hear you bro but not interrupting the guest when he is speaking just to add your point. Allow him to finish and then add. It’s ruins the flow and takes guest off their point. I guess it’s experience or over excitement. A convo depends on the question. If your asking a direct question then you get a direct answer and allow the guest to speak. An indirect/general question can allow interjection as that is the convo. It’s about finding the balance,
@@boglewine7794 that’s the problem with comments, I was having a conversation with someone else and I don’t know who invited you. People can’t just voice opinions anymore without rude responses. Nobody said I never enjoyed it I simply provide an opinion on how to make the video better. Don’t make assumptions. If never enjoyed it I wouldn’t have said anything and thumbs down.
