These are my favorite kinds of videos. It shows that even some of the best can still make mistakes and then you help us learn by going over said mistakes and how to fix them. Keep it up!

In the last game, you had a fire punch loaded and a shield to hide behind. Shouldn’t you have thrown the punch and shield whatever move the talonflame throws? That would’ve give you a loose con, would it?
@tomahawkuk
@tomahawkuk 9 дней назад
@@twandejong8098 Yes I definitely should have! At the time, I'd forgotten how much health the Talonflame was on so didn't want to blind throw when it came back in, but that's just one more mistake to add to the repertoire 😂

Hey! GG for your victory! I find this video idea interesting. I wanted to know if your Pokémon have a top pvp iv rank or if they have a little attack to win the mirror cmp?
@tomahawkuk
@tomahawkuk День назад
Thanks Jerome! I've always been a fan of running medium-high attack on my offensive pokemon to try and ensure CMP wins, and a tiny bit of attack on bulkier mons for a chance of CMP win whilst maintaining as much bulk as possible :)
@JeromeLeclercq13
@JeromeLeclercq13 День назад
@@tomahawkuk Thank you for answering me:) If I understood correctly, for fragile and offensive Pokémon like Galvantula, Machamp, Frosslas, Feraligator, etc. They have 6-7-8 IV on offense and for Pokémon like Azumarill, Toxapex, Diggersby, etc. Do they have more of a 3-4-5 IV in attack?
@tomahawkuk
@tomahawkuk День назад
@@JeromeLeclercq13 1-2 attack could be enough on the bulky ones. For the offensive mons, there's no strict rule and it depends on how often you expect to be in mirror matches. 3-4 can often be enough, 6+ if you really don't want to risk it, though I've even gone as high as 10+ in the past (e.g. my Annihilape last season)!
@JeromeLeclercq13
@JeromeLeclercq13 День назад
@@tomahawkuk Okay, thank you, it's much clearer to me thanks to you! I will try to watch you during your visits during the Regionals. Have a nice day/evening from Belgium:)
@VideoGamer110

14:26 why not instantly throw the fire punch on CMP? you lose CMP but whether its the fly or the BB, you can just shield and get off the move before the potential BB, right? Your opponent is shields down
@tomahawkuk
@tomahawkuk 8 дней назад
@@VideoGamer110 Agreed, I hadn't realised how low the Talon was otherwise I would have! Another mistake to add to the list 😂
@arturomod
@arturomod 9 дней назад
also, what is the reason of a regular aslash over a shadow one?
@tomahawkuk
@tomahawkuk 9 дней назад
Most importantly, the regular survives an EQ from Clodsire but is also stronger into Azumarill and Diggersby. In my mind there's not much benefit from running the shadow in this meta!
