Can you discard more than one Precience tokens for Portent at the same time? Or is it only one at a time like it says the ability rules? Had a new player argue that he could do it three times as he had three tokens, as they are used one at a time. We ruled that it could be used only once per TP.

How can you go on guard after you teleport? I thought you needed to be on conceal, and iirc you can't guard with a conceal order...?

You don’t need to be concealed to teleport. You just need to “be in shadow”. The qualifications for “being in shadow” for Ma’amdrakes is far more lenient than for Memesis.

Are you sure they have to activate the model they were going to after your dirgemaw activates? It doesn’t seem like RAW specifies that. It also makes sense that they can pick a different model to activate as you might kill that model

They can only select a different operative if you killed that model. It is written so that you interrupt that activation and then you go ahead with the operative they chose. If the model is still alive, the other player has already selected to activate them, regardless of what happened in between.

@@CommandPointmakes sense. I still think BoK are fine into most teams excluding elites. If they had someway of doing some ranged damage to legionnaires and intercessors they’d feel playable. I think they may do ok though as much less elites in tournaments

22:50 You can't actually fight first in that scenario, even if you had lived. The enemy operative needs to charge to enable you to fight first. Thanks for sharing your experience though! Good listen.

The operative wasn’t in engagement range when it opened the door, so after opening it would have had to charge if it fought again after the hatchway fight finished.

@@CommandPoint Quite right. I think I misunderstood the position of the sorcerer relative to the door. Do you think Mandrakes are reliable enough in a bigger long-form tournament? It sounded like there were quite a few knife's edge moments. Granted, you also said you think you can refine the play, but sounds like a game can be won or lost on an oubliette or activation denial roll succeeding/failing.
