@@Sn00gans people who actually play cedh are more likely to complain about winota than they are to complain about thoracle. Most thoracle decks are harder than pilot than winota.
Game 2 had some weird not cedh cards in it like the tapped land niv played and the ghostly prison Reed played. Those cards arnt exactly known for being at cedh tables
i think both these decks are ultra dominant at non-cedh tables, making their respective pods so salty about them that they are kinda pushed into thinking cEDH is the only place where they can play. needs a new assesment of card quality + mulligans for this
We will look into legacy in the future, but they weren't performing very well. Stay tuned and we will let everyone know where Legacy might be happening.
@@DarkEinherjar Yes we have! Right now we have so much on our plate with streams, podcasts, and cedh videos though. Hopefully we can get something like that in the future.
@@PlayingWithPowerMTG you should trial some Conquest game videos. I'd love to see what you guys do with the "standard commander" format. I'm sure you could showcase some real powerhouse decks.
@@jeremyjoe7494 sure I get that but why use the possibly the worst way to display a deck list? Moxfield let’s you click one button also to buy from TCG player.
@@PlayingWithPowerMTG for sure! Just surprised that the decklists need to be posted on there. I feel like Moxfield is the gold standard so when decklists are posted elsewhere I feel like its missing out on a lot of info or ability to check out people's decks in a valuable way. Would love to see people who have primers for their decks etc and that's simply not possible on the TCG version
I see there was a comment about the legacy videos stopping and I just want to add that I'd only ever seen the occasional PleasantKenobi video on legacy besides yours as I only play edh and cedh and it never really interested me. However it was so well presented in your videos that I thoroughly enjoyed it and miss seeing it too
The deck usually works really well for me, I just took a super cracked greedy hand and it didnt pay off, though the odds were in my favpur at least once with Looting and I just got wrecked lmao
Its the other way round. You have to pay 4 life for each card (including ur normal drawstep card) u want to keep, if u dredge, since library cares about "two cards in your hand drawn this turn".
I mean I really wasnt that frustrated, it's a card game lmao. I picked up my mat hastily because Id been in the venue for many hours and really, REALLY needed to go to the bathroom haha
@@Envykhan thanks i run a derevi deck as well just looking for ideas to figure out any upgrades i want. I go combo lines with creature focused combos trying to blink creatures repeatedly with emiel drawing my deck then winning with lab man effect
@@intonight9564 i cycle between what i use for my stax pieces it all dependent in the meta im in. right now its a lot of midrange so runic armasaur and ouran frostfang have been great. theres a lot of different ways you could go about it so im glad if my list helps ya out!
4 horsemen gitrog imho is just stupid... You can realistically play it only among friends that let you shortcut it. If you bring it to a tournament (if they don't ban it outright) you need to demonstrate every single game that you can assemble the win before you get disqualified for slowplay
This statement is untrue. Nondeterministic is NOT slow play under tournament definition rules. Gitrog's loops are non-deterministic, but progress the game. Slow play is unnecessary and excessive actions that do no progress the game. Loops: blogs.magicjudges.org/rules/mtr4-4/ Slow Play: blogs.magicjudges.org/rules/ipg3-3/
