Winston Allen fought Frank Bruno and Joe Bugner given Lenny Mcleans record against decent pro's in the ring its certainly likely he would have beaten Mclean.
Cliff Field lost four of his 15 pro fights, all by stoppage and all due to cuts above his eyes, including twice to Billy Aird and once to Richard Dunn. And Winston Allen lost a points decision to Billy Aird.

Hi Ray,Lenny and Roy were well known names in the unlicensed fighting, both were ok tbh but not great but its all about putting bums on seats Ray,they had huge following and boxing is all about money only,i feel people are wrong saying Lenny was worst fighter, considering he had no boxing experience he done ok,if Sykes done unlicensed but i dont think he would had he wouldhadwiped floor with 99% but drink was his downfall
Your RU-vid has so much potential Ray!! You could do more podcasts.. It worked great with Mr Fish and Terry (And you come over well with Chris Lambrianou, so why not do it??) Also, I was a paid member for a while. You should think about offering 'advance screenings' or unique posts for members only.. Maybe after 6 months of membership open up offers to a 5 minute skype 'face to face' etc I'd like to know if you knew some of my relatives for example? Problem here is that Ray doesn’t have the attention span to let others open up - asking questions letting them answer in-depth - he isn’t able to let the conversation flow. His thought process doesn’t allow it. Pity as he’s charismatic but just doesn’t have what, let’s say Yammy has, the ability to go with the conversation no matter where it goes.

Someone like Terry Stone (Who reminds me of the late Eric Hall on speed!) is all ego and giggles and yet from all the shmoozing comes the occasional nugget of information! (Brian Richardson (Rolfe) was saying something along these lines after his recent interview) Ray's not half as hyper as Terry and he definitely gives Mr Fish time to expand on his views!!

Difference with Fish is he is a force that won’t be cajoled or dare I say it, intimidated by anyone, plus he knows how to handle Ray better than most. Old time friends… I’m a huge supporter of Ray but find he’s the cuckoo in the nest. Eventually turning on those that ‘feed’ him - so to speak. Have dealt out many many times my opinion to him. Good and Bad at times. Sometimes he get’s it but then sometimes his natural inclinations overpower his previous good intentions. Brian (Rolfe) did a wonderful job on Terry show. Then again Brian is well practiced (police interviews etc) in putting his side across without the restrictions (coppers etc) swaying him.

Winston is right its all about levels and Mclean was not a boxer he was not even fit. Roy had some boxing experience and was a nice fella who never took liberties.
Lenny got beat up badly by Micky gluckstead in a pub in Hoxton over Lenny bullying mickys mate micky always said Lenny went down easier than expected. Roy was always the tougher guy especially before Lenny got on the steds ray you would of beat Lenny easy
