he's always been a nice guy, i remember competing against him as a teen so smooth, this guy could've been a pro bodyboarder as well, i think he made the right decision with the band probly best rider headlanders ever had go through the club too.

Winston and the other guys in Parkway are some one of the coolest dudes i've ever met. Couple years ago (maybe 7+), my buddy found a listing about a, "secret event" that Parkway was doing here in Lake Elsinore, California. We initially thought it was going to be a secret show, so we sent our info hoping to get on the list (we got in). Once everything got settled and we headed to the spot, we saw it was at the Sky Diving place, which made us think it was a show FOR SURE, since it had so much open area! Went through the check-in process, then they got everyone together (must've been 100 people at most), and basically informed us that they were shooting the music video for Vice Grip there. Gave us the rundown about it being anew song, and BOY!!! WE WERE HYPED!! We met the band, then they told us they wanted us throwing our fists in the air, because we were filming the RISE, RISE scene with the flames shooting out, and basically they wanted us to just stay in time and said we could hop around a little and be active. FUCKIN A MAN!!! There were so many people who couldn't keep in time for shit! LMAO, But ONCE WE GOT THAT SHIT DOWN, literally EVERYONE was treating it like it was a show! Crowdsurfing, some very slight moshing (didnt make the cut I think lmao), we even learned the lyrics within the first few takes and started singing along. We gave them our all! The Parkway guys were so impressed by everyone, they kept us hyped with their feedback the whole time. The energy carried out until the end! Undoubtedly one of the best nights of my life! Love you Parkway!

Regardless if one thinks PWD's music is still good or has lost its touch, everyone is entitled to their own perceptions. I've been a fan since Horizons. And then listening to their new stuff, damn. I feel like I have grown right along with these guys. People change. You can't expect a band to keep putting out the same shit. I absolutely love the evolution of PWD. "Viva the underdogs!"
