I really hate when people with fsx experience come here to tell how you should have landed. Incredible landing and amazing video captain! Thanks for sharing it with us :)
Had to watch the landing twice to see what all the noise was about. All anyone will remember is if you put it on the ground hard. Nice uneventful landing is always appreciated from those that sit behind the captain. I don't really want to be the first to the crash, thank you very much. Keep the videos coming.
Hello Sandor, You disabled comments for the Istvan Major video, so I am posting here. He was my long and triple jump coach in my first year at York University. I was surprised to hear of his passing, but will remember him as a caring, attentive and knowledgeable coach.
Gotta love all the "armchair experts" in the comments section trying to tell you how you should have landed! Was wondering, does your company let you fly visual approaches when the weather is good? Brilliant video as always. Greetings from warm, sunny Australia :)
Absolutely stunning! May I ask what company you fly for? I can't wait until I start my training next year, I don't care about how much debt I'm gonna be in, that view will make it all worth while :) all the best
What a great and a smooth touchdown that was . It is my dream to be a pilot , 5 years left untill i finish school and i am gonna be 16 not sure if this is an acceptable age to be a student pilot
Perfectly on the glidepath, I wish I could flare like that more often. At which point did you take over the AP ? We don't have the bit on your footage. Cheers mate
+Live from the Flight Deck yeah nasty sun reflection on this morning mist makes things a bit more challenging. However handflying from FL150 to landing shows a nice light workload, gotta love the Romanian airspace... Cheers
+Robert Greenlee I think my passengers would rather see me land in a flat attitude than digging a hole into the runway. This runway has a light downslope, little flaring required. The aim is to land near the big white markers, which was achieved in this landing.
