Maybe try van-life. One of the more popular ones is Jeanelle Eliana who says she is on a journey to find herself by traveling in a van. I’ve had those same thoughts that you had. But if van life doesn’t work out then I would suggest traveling. I mean we only live once so we should live it to it’s fullest while we still can! Live your life the way you want to not the way others expect.
