Slovenija is such a beautiful country. And everything, not only the railways, is in best order and absolutely clean. This could really be be a part of Switzerland.
@nickweiserfolz i love Slovenia and it is indeed a beautiful country, but no, this coundn't be a part of Switzerland for mainly 2 reasons - the different architecture and better infrastructure in Switzerland.
@@RailRelaxation the SZ Class 610 from stadler is also in service by Arriva Nederland at the Noordelijke Nevenlijnen (where it is known as the Stadler WINK) where it is in service on the RS2 to Harlingen Haven,RS3 to Sneek/Stavoren and sometimes the RS/RE1 to Leeuwarden wich is then shared with the Stadler GTW
i used to use this route on my annual holidays in Slovenia, loved it. Havent been since 2019 due to COVID but this video made me realise i miss that place soooo much.t hank you for posting it :)
Bled Jezero or Bled LAKE! Bohinj Lake are heart places! Places of Soul! Nova Gorica is the terminal of the Transalpine railway from Jesenice! I Know that valley! I WENT to Metaldays festival in Tolmin and it is not so far from Most na Soci, where the river Baca crosses the Idrija Valley with the Idrijca lies. Idrija and the Mercury Caves. Nova Gorica and Gorizia united in the Europa Square, an historical place where former station Gorizia Montesanto ( now Nova Gorica Station) lies and there 's Italy/Slovenia Border and the Nova Gorica/Ljubljana municipality border. It is a place of soul, too. Rich in the meaning of memory of Cold War, where the Iron Curtain separated two words: Italy and Yugoslavia. Thank u! BRAVO!
@wladislaw79 you know this places all this places. Nice. Yes, Tolmin is not so far away. I went to Metaldays festival a few years ago, on the Sepultura concert. It was a great experience. A great place to organise the festival. I heard that they will change the location.
Love this trip! Love Slovenia! The Raca River Valley is amazing! The video was crystal clear! Thank you so much! Keep well, keep doing it! Hugs and more hugs! #newfoundlandandlabrador #canada
@paolopetronio8260 Wow, I am honoured to speak with the author of that book. You have to know every bit of the line and its history. I find that line the most beautiful line in Slovenia. The cuts in the tunnels are complicated, lots of viewers are complaining about long tunnels... I try to get somewhere in between to meet everyone's wishes..Thank you for your comment.
Nice trip through north western Slovenia ending up Nova Gorica and Nova Gorica area along with it's Italian sister city has some of best pizza joints anywhere on the planet.
Love your videos but seeing I'm on the other side of the world I would like to see a photo of the train loco / drive car of the train. Keep these videos coming for us that don't live in Europe.
@wayneeschbank2895 thank you very much for your comment. Well noted! I am so glad that those video can bring European railway lines closer to the viewers all around the world. Wishing you a wonderful day!
It's still nice to have a clear view without overhead wires. The snowy landscape is beautiful.🏔 It seems to me that car-carriers would be very active during the snowy season🚗🛤 Thank you very much!👍
Boa Tarde!!! Meu amigo maquinista brasileiro, Está tudo bem contigo ???
@gargamel91 hello, thank you for your comment. I did like the Italian cab rides too, there is something about the blue see being close....For sure this line going through the Slovenian mountains can not be boring😁no way. It is just beautiful. I drive there every year at least a few times...have a nice day!
This line is very beautiful, the landscapes are amazing, the most beautiful railway line in Slovenia that was recently included in the list of the 10 most beautiful railways in the world (By CNN travel channel). The next lines that I will publish will be from Croatia and Italy.
@thom3124 thank you for your comment. There are people that don't like the tunnels, so I try to take a middle path and leave the tunnels and cut the longest ones.
Potem Šoštanj-Slovenj Gradec.
Assume that the train gets several times a forced braking by the software due to problems in drive/ brake control under these difficult slippery driving conditions on wet/ snowy track. May be also due to the programming of the train control software.
Hallo mein Freund !!!
Austrian train drivers if they have the correct locomotive to do Vbf Villach Süd Triest via Jesenice Assling route, they are going to say Wochiener Bahn. Since the Austro-Hungarian government needed to cross the alps
