Hope you had great time with your friends for dinner and it was funny seeing Maggie rolling around in the dirt. Looked like she was doing a happy dance. Lol! You all looked so relaxed by the fire. I hope you have a great week and weekend and see you soon!
Camping with friends is such fun. We just returned from Jekyll Island where we were camping with some old friends from our military years. Your BBQ chicken dinner looked delicious! We’re not water people but always enjoy seeing you on your kayak adventures.
So nice - and even better when you can share it with friends. Thanks for sharing it with all of us too. Safe travels & stay well - hugs for Miss Maggie.
I was just getting comfortable around the fire and then it was over. Looked like a great evening in a beautiful park. Thanks for inviting us. Happy tails and safe travels.
I live right across the street from Wal-Mart. Please do not ride your bike on Tamiami trail, it's super dangerous. People have been hit and killed while cycling recently. This two lane strip between Sarasota and Nokomis is panic inducing, in my opinion, and I live here. Please be safe and enjoy your time here in my backyard❤
Another great episode. Was hoping to cross paths on our recent trip….. we saw an Ekko at Fred Gannon Ricky Bayou SP but alas wasn’t you two. Love that you go to a lot of state parks!
I’m binge watching your Alaska trip right now when I saw you dropped this video. I took my van for my maiden voyage to Oscar Scherer, had a bad thunderstorm and rodents chewed my wires! Very expensive camping trip! I enjoy your videos and you all, hope to meet you some day! I’m lucky enough to live in Sarasota and enjoy our state parks all over paradise.
How soon after you visit a place do you post your videos? We’re in Sarasota and Oscar Scherer is very close to us! Would love to meet all three of you!!! We love your videos.
What a nice park and and have nice trails. Nice you were able to hook up with friends who have also a dog name Maggie. How often dies that happen? That’s a nice bike ride to Walmart 4 miles away. It’s fun riding that far. But going home is the hard part. Sometimes.
Always enjoy this park. Our last visit there was when it reopened after Ian. It certainly did some damage, Great trails and the Legacy Trail is terriffic. We love to go visit the Clyde Butcher gallery when in the area. You woold enjoy his black and white photography.
Awesome video…..another great adventure! Safe travels and happy tails. How easy is that screen room to set up? Think one person can do it or is it a two person job?
Another great one! Lynn you always look so lovely and fit! I can’t wait to get some back surgery so I can start moving again like y’all do. The kayaking looks like so much fun! I used to canoe down the Rocky River back home before all the spine issues and it was very exciting. Y’all have a great day.
I’m sorry to hear about your spine issues. There’s not much worse than back pain, it affects so much of your daily life. Good luck getting the surgeries you need. We appreciate you watching.
Awesome videos as always, really enjoy watching you guys. It would be nice if possible at the beginning of the video to date stamp it and show a map of where you are. I always find myself going to google maps to find you. I’m in Sarasota presently and thought, hey they are just near me until you mentioned Super Bowl Sunday 😂. Now this is just my personal opinion but I find the music great but the volume distracts from the beautiful scenery, volume on music at 25% might be nicer, again just me. Keep up the great work. We travel in a 2022 LTV UTB with a 14 week old beagle, he’s a little challenging right now.
Maggie is really good at staying in the kayak unless Owen catches a fish and then she will go after the fish. If I have Maggie and Owen is fishing I usually stay away from him in Florida water.
Hi Owen. Do you mind if I ask your age? I am 71 and would like to get started with Kayaking but my wife thinks it might be too strenuous for me. I am a little overweight but in pretty good shape otherwise. I really enjoy your adventures.
Never too old is what I’d say. It’s mostly balance and upper body strength. And it’s the getting to the water, on/off/ and getting back to the vehicle with the kayak that hurts us the most. I turned 65 this year. A good option for you might be to rent one at a local place and see how you do. Maybe even take a guided tour somewhere where you’ll have a pro there with you if needed. But I doubt you do. Kayaking is a fun exercise that allows you to go at your own pace. Hope this helps.
I notice that u camp in state parks - I find it very difficult to get reservations in state parks ! Is there any trick to getting reservations? How far in advance do u book campsites?
Just watched a video at park near Tallahassee FL, I thought it may be a good stop on the way going back North.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-botEpUWSpbw.html
