I’ve been there for sure! Started out just walking with a hand auger and tip ups to small back lakes and slowly but surely built up the collection of gear you see today! Part of me misses going with nothing because it was so much simpler 😂 cheers buddy!

Dude, stumbled across your videos looking for Burbot tips, I'm heading to Cold lake this weekend and I was hoping to try and land a couple there. Any pointers for spring burbot? Keep up the great work. Liked and Subbed.

I’ve actually only targeted them through the ice in the winter, spring time I’d look to spawning shoals and fish out from them. I’d imagine they’d be much like the winter, night time would be the time to get them. If that fails, target the deep soft bottom basins. That is my recommendation! Let me know how you make out! Speaking to some locals may help as well! Good luck!
