Watching a camping video before sleep is the best thing

Well I'll be. Have I been living under a rock for 70 years? I love bacon, love pancakes, but have never thought about, heard, or seen, of making a bacon-cake. I know what I'm having in the morning. Thank you!

Well done, Andy. My parents came from Hong Kong to start a takeaway here in the UK back in the late 70s. A job well done, mate. I worked in the shop for about 13 years and finally moved on to work in the NHS as a nutritionist but I still remember all of the smells from the dishes that we made. (Americans love a British accent!) And, I'm learning a lot. You're so adventurous, especially with all the cold and rain. What’s the process when you come back from a camp and have to dry everything out and put it all away? I think there’s an interesting vid in that if you haven’t done one already. I love watching for the chucking of wood and truly satisfying sounds of clacking, snapping latching and zipping, not to mention sizzling slurping and your ahhhh after all that hard work. Love how you test out so many outdoor/camping items which is so helpful when looking to buy some of these items. You also teach many amazing meal recipes, which anyone would love to try making at home, not just out camping. 9:30 love the table .. fun fact: decades ago, for a small time, I sold cars. The training vid we were shown for our SUV model was taking the p&ss out of Ford because their back hatch opened sideways, whereas ours lifted like yours. They were making out like it was the greatest design feature ever incorporated - a 'spare room' / instant awning. I've never forgotten this and every time I see you standing under your hatch I lol.😂

That little table is pretty sweet. Finding flat horizontal surfaces while camping is always a challenge. Great video as always.

I’ve just recently started watching wild camping vids and forgot how much we enjoyed our trips with mum n dad in the Scottish highlands 😊 but that was many moons ago, I’m 63 now and it’s caravans, cottages and lodges now, but….you never know lol😅

The tell me smoke follows beauty. No matter where you sit, smake follows you. 😉

You made a variation of bacon froize (aka bacon fraise). When we do a cooking demonstration with this variation, we put the bacon in small pieces. It uses more of the batter and makes the finished product easier to dip. It's also really good for putting into a takeaway carton and eating in the car if one's running late in the morning.

This appears to be the type of morning that I would stick my nose out of the bivwack and retreat into the warmth of my blankets until hydronic pressure forced me out.

Andy: I don't have a bottle opener on me... It wouldn't be a camping trip if Andy didn't forget something.....😺

That set up would be great for off road drivers to use in case they get stuck. Add some food and wood, and they could wait until they can dig out or be rescued.
