When the crappie are biting, that road bank is elbow to elbow with fishermen. The fact that no one else is there says the fish aren't biting. Tip: be there before sunrise.

I did get to stop down there last year for a hour I couldn’t believe how much trash was everywhere I stoped at it was a mess . I've fished that same bank now 25 yrs dude wow 😲 tank crappie and there will be a time if the yr where ya can't buy a crappie wow 😳 monster crappie. There also a secret spot up on that bridge . Also dude there will come a certain time where you'll ware waders on the north west side over a long the bank with all the timber take a slip kork 16 th oz lead head walleye colors with a large crappie tube jig tipped with a minnow. We would fish the early morning bite for crappie on the first bank you were on 4:30 am just to get a spot the early am bite just as the sun comes up can be very very fast and huge crappie 14" ers not uncommon , then after the am bite we would drive over to 48 bridge white bass out the ying yang .

I take a youtube break for awhile and your channel blows up. Congrats my dude. I think that pink and green bait would work great in Florida. Crappie are excellent fried and it's the only freshwater fish I eat here. Never found them to be mushy. Damn I wish I saw that big fish you hooked.

I'm not sure crappie can be used as bait here? Not saying crappie is better cause I haven't had bluegill in forever but if it's mushy, may be cooking to long🤷‍♂️
