Hey Harmonie! I'm enjoying your videos. Would love to see a video about Vancouver nightlife. I've from a people that Vancouver doesn't have as an exciting nightlife as other major cities. Is this true? Where do people go to hangout at night? Thank you!
hahah this is true. there is very little night life. What I've observed (from friends and acquaintances that move here form other places like Toronto) is that initially, the lack of nightlife is a problem for them, but after a little while of being here, people seem to experience a lifestyle shift & pick up other interests instead. For example, healthy and active lifestyles are big here, so often people will prefer to get day drunk at the beach with friends & wake up early the next day for a hike vs. go to the club & stay out until 7 am & sleep all day. Maybe that's also just people getting older/ lifestyle changes caused by the lockdowns/ pandemmys, but thats what I've noticed. Though, I feel like in places like whistler there is a lot more of a party scene because it draws a diff crowd.
