You guys ought to get your vitamin D levels checked I guarantee you are all likely Vitamin D deficient because if you actually spend time out in the sun you would be used to the heat.

I live in northern new hampshire. This means another seven or eight months of winter. Our summers are very short. I'm elderly now, so it's ddfinately depressing. I wish i had the money to live in a warm climate in the winter. However, i have a warm apartment so it's not all bad

Man you get alot of snow. I lived there when I was 8 for 4 years in Hebron on new found lake winters where cold with lots of snow. Summer was perfect.

I can relate I’m from Montana and while it is a beautiful state the winters here are too long and too cold. I am young only 20 years old but still I don’t like winter I never have and never will I really hate the lack of sunlight in the winter sunlight is crucial for Vitamin D and when it’s cold and snowy for months you lack natural access to Vitamin D. I don’t like having to stay indoors for months my main reason for wanting to live in a warmer climate is that I can be active outdoors year round.

I couldn’t imagine living in Alaska Montana winters are already too much for me I know I couldn’t tolerate an Alaskan winter Montana is a warmer state when compared to Alaska I’m glad I’m in Montana instead. It’s dry here but it’s been warm and sunny very beautiful fall weather, I know you guys in Alaska haven’t been experiencing temps in the 70s like we are here in Montana but at least you guys haven’t got snow yet I’m surprised I thought it’d be winter by now in Alaska.

@@punchfreneticallydot it used to be! When I first moved here over 15 years ago now it was -30 with many feet of snow. That Solar Maximum has made things easier on us since then, but we have 11 years of it going the other way in 2026. It was in the 40s today, not too bad, a bit colder now at night. Snow will come soon, we appreciate every extra day without it we get.

We live in mid Mo and the high today was 91'. I'm over it, we haven't had any kind of rain for a couple of months. I only feel sorry for my houseplants who have to come in until May. Bring on the cold, Mother Nature!🥶

Well @DirectWeather everything here at my location is just as you have correctly been forecasting all year long! The temperatures have been incrementally dropping; especially this past week. Today I again woke to 40° and the high barely hit 59° with late evening thunder, wind and lightning rain storm that is just winding down now. Sunday, tomorrow will hardly hit low 50°s. Monday morning will be 32° w/frost freeze warnings issued and lucky if it reaches a windy rainy, chilly 52°. Cold thru the week until 66° on Friday. then cold comes back! For the 1st time this year will turn the furnace on tomorrow! Thanks for your consistently correct forecasts! Much appreciated 🙂

This is around schedule for a cool snap to come into the US about now. Fact is, this is about normal. Place in central Ohio getting first freezes in this upcoming cool period are getting them barely before schedule. This isn't unusual. What would be unusual is if this happened in late September to early October. Hardly impressive. Winters nowadays are and will get even warmer than usual. Most areas already are 3+ degrees above the early 20th century winter temperature averages.

winters are not getting warmer...............look at the data over many years as there a many groups of years of mild vs just the last few years, here in PA the trees are changing way earlier, the snowiest decade on record of the entire USA is the last decade........2010 to 2020, not that long ago

@DavidWarfel-qs9lt I look at the data, the winter of 2023-24 was by far the warmest on record, areas in Minnesota and Wisconsin were FIFTEEN degrees above normal this winter. It’s real, folks. We may still see the occasional chilly winter, but they will get fewer and farther between as the years pass.

It should also be said that snow isn’t necessarily a good indicator of warming. Warmer air can hold more moisture. It’s not as cold as often, but it IS cold enough to snow, it could be more than it would’ve been without the added moisture.

@@DavidWarfel-qs9ltI still remember the winter of 2022 to 2023 vividly it was by far the worst winter of the 2020s so far undoubtedly I remember sub zero temperatures occurring from November all the way to February that season and tons of snow the snowiest winter in recent years it was brutal I remember it dropped to -45 degrees in December 2022, I never want to see that kind of cold again it’s traumatizing!

I’m not looking forward to the arrival of cold weather one bit I guess we have been pretty fortunate here so far in Montana by far probably the warmest early to mid fall on record in recent time but of course good things can’t last forever I really wish the weather didn’t have to change. I have to question this country at times it’s a nice beautiful day but people would rather rush fast food places than enjoy the nice weather unbelievable! Not like you should be eating junk anyways regardless of the weather but the fact that people rush for fast food on a nice beautiful day really shows how most Americans really are, only proves what everyone else says about us is true.

Bring on the cold I hate this muggy buggy shitty migritty weather it never used to be this oppressively humid in October and Florida like summers now in the northeast when your always drenched and sweating constantly and sticky I remember in the 80s and 90s we had normal seasons not like Florida now from March to October it's absolutely awful now no more in betweens with springs and normal falls now it's just winter right to summer and this up and down shit where it goes from 40 to 90 in March and super oppressively humid long summers that make you irritable all the time

Greater meandering of the jet stream due to less temperature differential between the arctic and mid-latitudes. The reason for the lower temperature differential is GLOBAL WARMING causing the arctic to warm 4 times faster than mid-latitudes thus lowering the differential.

It's not early at all. It is actually MUCH later than usual. Snow usually begins to fall in the higher elevations at the beginning of Sept. Aug. normally sees snow in the higher spots. The average first snow (accumulating) for the Northern Plains falls anywhere from OCT 1ST on...these types of videos ARE NOT HELPFUL to anyone, when they are created to shock rather than inform.

Not really the bigger story I learned in Meteorology 201, 301, 401. though, ya kno? And not learning it wouldn't have helped me get this fancy licence from the FAA that cannot be obtained from a for-profit "technology institute."
