Winters are long in the North Woods and we just had our first snow fall. That's a sign it's time to get those last minute chores done before winter comes.
Hi, just found your channel. Very nice content. Beautiful place you have. Got a small cabin myself. Strawberry Arkansas out in the woods. God bless you. (Old guy from Arkansas)🇺🇸
I take all my leaves n dump them on the garden along with grass clippings and chicken shite. I've noticed too when I dump leaves in the woods I always get grouse in those leaves every year.
Thats funny that you screwed the panels into the wood... lol.... the second you put that first panel up I thought right away that he should screw that to the wood to hold in place and the next you see is you screwing it in lol...
I'm thinking the tractor hydraulics will be slower for splitting. Just like how pto splitters aren't super popular. That tomahawk chop on the grill looked good 👍 Cheers.
Thanks for the video! Watching it gave me a nice break from patent/teacher conferences. One parent came I while I was watching!! Lol😂. Was that a pork chop or lamb chop! Don’t say lamb, don’t say lamb, don’t say lamb! 🙏🏻 😂
Just a suggestion : fluid film for your chain. It’s a good lubricant but where it really shines is preventing moisture from getting into the links. Would normally go through 2-3 chains a year on my sanders ( spreading straight salt with all that salt dust ). I’ve got one sander that will be in its 3rd year with the same chain. Especially if you cover the chain with fluid film in the spring when you’re putting it away. Just sharing my experiences. Hope it helps. Take care Dale 🍺🍺
A bear stole my big bottle of Dawn dishwashing liquid by my outdoor faucet so I finally got two trail cameras and several wireless driveway alarms. I got a huge collection of amazing bird, squirrel, possum, raccoon, coyote and other pictures and used the alarms to alert me to garden pests like armadillos, deer, and my bunny friend. The alarm went off one day and I threw open the door and yelled, "NO BUNNY!" and a poor mama deer nearly jumped over the trees in a panic. LOL! The bunny likes baby green bean plants so I had to put alarms on those but I don`t care if she eats the blackeyed pea leaves. But if not for the alarms the deer would have eaten them all. I`m letting the bunnies nest here as a wild food supply so I`ve been trying to be nice to them.
I admire your ability to grill in cold temperatures. I tend to avoid the challenge of grilling in air temperatures less than 60 degrees F. Your videos are relaxing and entertaining. God bless you, my friend.
Have you ever done a full cabin tour? Would love to see your interior layout... Always looking for ideas for my upcoming cabin build... Keep those videos a comin'...
Thanks... Looking at your page only about 8 videos opened up. But did a little searching and found all 219. Thanks I will be checking out your build in more detail... Great videos...
I was chatting with a client from Portland today and they mentioned you got some snow up there. Where I was at in Alaska this summer just got 2+ FEET of snow overnight. Kind of glad I ended up moving back to Utah now.
Still trying to finish up my "pre-winter" to do list. It has been cold here. Hopefully the ground will have time to freeze before the bigger snows come.
As long as your tractors pump output in gpm is the same or higher than shouldn't be a problem. If the output is significantly lower your cycle speed will be slower on the splitter.
Always a good feeling getting those fall chores completed and things buttoned up for winter! We just had our first accumulating snow of the season here today (Under an inch). Winter is coming!
Dale, I see you have your little propane tank directly under the eave and sitting basically on the ground? Does it not get damaged or at the very least, buried in the winter with the snow?
No apple sauce? What was that other thing on the plate you were eating? I thought it might be a nice time of year to cut some trees down too. Good to see you back at the cabin!!!!
U could send that to machine shop to make a new shaft for u, running off of tractor may decrease your gpm ( making it slower) or lower psi(making it weaker) it may not though if that pump was designed to run faster Than the 540 pto speed. Just good for thought in your decision making
Always something eh. Put the wrong shear bolt in the bush hog and blew the drive shaft. If you don't make a mistake once in a while your not doing anything.
