@@blakeellis6191 true. But you also wouldn't break your nose and crack your head open. I'd rather get snow in my shoes than ether of the other things Ive mentioned.
As someone who grew up in crazy snowy winters...I will never understand why people struggle to walk up icy drive ways or sidewalks....Walk. On. The. SNOW.
Yeah, me too. In the Snowy Mountains in Australia. Everytime I see people walking out on thin ice- man, you are in for a world of pain. Or worse... they don't realize how fatal it can become for themselves or the rescuers.
The brother at 3:54 perfectly explains sibling relationships to only child’s. Sees your brother fall like 6 or 7 feet straight onto his chest and being like “bro you took out a plant😂”
Be safe driving! Remember to slow down for turns and careful using high-beams in a blizzard. You'll reduce your long range visibility as the light will reflect off the blizzard right back at you. I almost got crushed by a semi last week as he couldn't see me in-front of him. My hazards saved me at the last second.

I know too many sad stories of people falling through the ice and being lost to find those clips funny. My nephew is a first responder; he said the hardest thing he’s ever done was telling a man’s wife, “This isn’t a rescue anymore-it’s a recovery, and we *have* to stop for today and return tomorrow.” (They had been in the freezing temps for 9 hours and couldn’t go on)
How do you guys drive a car on roads when the driveway is so slippery you can't even walk up it? I live in Australia where even in winter we're lucky to see rain let alone snow. The complete lack of traction on ice makes me question how anyone gets anywhere alive.
@@thecook8964 Or walk in the snow instead, or just get some proper footwear, cleats, etc. But he means thin ice over water, where traction is the least of your problems.
Where i live we have 15+ inches of snow (stil here from 3+ weeks ago) and our high today was 9 degrees i think (low was like -10?) and it was supposed to be the warmest day this week
Yep.Balls of laughter here...oh wait..It's been holding 20F with 0 degree wind for a week.Salt won't melt the ice.And as towards my 'laughter' quip, they're frozen too.
For those of us who have never seen snow, this is a good lesson of what not to do. Probably I would have done the same in some situations due to inexperience.
Actually, as a Canadian, I did most of these things and highly recommend them: fun guaranteed (and make sure someone is filming). Just the walking-on-thin-ice bit is seriously dumb...
1977-78, people were walking on the Ohio River, driving cars, Jeeps, and, trucks on it, and, crews could walk from their frozen Tugboats to eat at restaurants in Cincinnati, great time!!!
@@nybergsgarage WOW ..... i bet you could teach us ( UK ) a few things over here . We’re hopeless with the smallest amount of snow an ice.. tho In my favour , i do have special shoe grippers that attach to any shoe/ boot and you wont slip at all .., why doesn’t everyone ??
