That was a cracking video Graham, nice to see someone else enjoying a bit of LRF, but a Perch and a flounder and Pollack from the same stretch of water, I’ve never seen the likes 👍👍

Never thought you would ever get perch round there🤣 sea can really thow up some suprises I do know a guy who found I live jack pike beached on a south Devon mark it was alive so he put it in a river

Great start to the new year, in Sweden and around the Baltic Sea its possible to find many of our common freshwater species living in a brackish and semi saltwater environment. Nice vid 👍

I live local to Charlestown and I’ve always thought there’s gotta be a big conger behind those lock gates ! Did not expect a perch !!! How is that even there ??? Good fishing

Thanks Ash, I know what your saying and in the past I have caught Strap Conger out of this exact spot. According to the HM Assistant I was talking to yesterday they have got in via the manual inlet up the top when its opened and there is a lot of talk about there being Rudd and Roach in there too. Shows how adaptable fish are to adjust to there environment. Maybe so you down there soon bud. Cheers and Tite Lines G

Bloody brilliant G thanks for sharing I’ll definitely have a go when I’m off next that perch lol I’m wondering if they are winter shoaling like they do on the canals what rod are you using

Apologies Dave, your message showing but wouldn't allow me to read! Sorted it now. Its a Gunki Finesse 0.5 to 7g, its a lovely rod with a real sensitive tip for bite indication. Tite Lines G

Thanks buddy great to hear from you. Yeah be fare to say it blew my mind a little. Had several sessions since then and the Perch didn't make an appearance again, but I will be back to try again very soon.
