alright Doctor Mix, whats the verdict? To my ears this things sounds really good even over youtube. My initial impression is this thing has an edge over the Nord electro 6d in price point and features. Since you have real experience with it would you say that is accurate? I personally think the pianos are better but more important, do the organs hold up? How about the feel of the key bed? They are touting real 8 operator FM, how deep is the parameter editing for it, is it full on or handicapped in some way?

90% of good sound comes from good playing, the rest from the skill of the player ;-)

If only they would add that organ engine and leslie to the MODX/Montage. I bet the internal engine is pretty much the same.

audio recording was over compressed... the piano sounds are horrible this way!

This is yamaha's new vintage organ, I think he is not the right person to demo this keyboard as it did not show the true capability of organ section. He talks too much more than the skills. Just sayin'

It's the talent that makes the synth sound good. No talent, no sound good !
