This series is by far may favorite. I mostly fish ponds just because they are more accessible. I can get in a short fishing session. Awesome job brotha.
We had a early winter this year. November never got above 55 degrees and the Christmas season was 11 degrees and had 3 days that never got above freezing.

Had my first good days of pond fishing last week in MS, 1 6 pounder, 5 almost 5 pounders, load of 3s. Those prespawn bass are mad! It's been in the 70s up hear with a warm front dumping lots of warm rain in the ponds.
Pond tip from a pond fisherman: get a lure retriever. There is 100% probabilty that you will get snagged. BassPro has a decent lure treiever that loops on your line. Feel your pain when loosing crankbaits. But feels better getting it back.

Dont feel bad about getting kicked out of a pond. Not the first;not the last. It comes with the experience of pond fishing. I myself am a pond fisherman and have been kicked out at many locations. Dont have a boat.

Typical Texan. First words out of his mouth in a winter fishing video are about how hot it is. Meanwhile in Illinois, I’m just waiting for the water to be liquid. No hate though, it’s be awesome to have fishing opportunities like that.
I'd love to go out and fish wherever there's water. But EVERYTIME I encounter a "landowner" it makes the time to relax impossible. I hate to use this as an excuse not to get out as much as I do, but I usually avoid weekends off the bank just for this reason. I promise to push myself out in the kayak more this year

Tyler: on ponds, if you feel like you got a hit and there’s no wieght on your line it could be that a bass just slapped your bait. If you get like “bibble, nibble” twice then you have small panfish just messing with you.
Hey Tyler I know this an out of the blue question but I’m going fishing tomorrow at some old rock mine ponds and I live here in Florida and we have a cold front coming through. It’s gonna be windy and about 60 degrees when I go out and I’m not sure how I should fish it. We’ve had some pretty hot weather lately but also some chilly nights. It’s really deep and it immediately drops off right at the bank. What would you do? I’ve seen some big fish in there but I’ve mostly caught dinks and one five. I’m thinking the bigger ones are really deep.
Man I don’t know how you guy do it, I would never want to fish urban ponds, just watchin it give me anxiety, I hate having to deal with people who aren’t fans of fishing and, nope nope nope I’ll be at a farm pond or out at some lake in the country lol 😅
This past season I bought two hybrid hunters cuz two ponds I fish have a lot of grass and for some reason the main big pond I fish that has no grass it was just on this yr and I never fished the other two but this yr I will definitely be throwing them

Will NEVER understand the miserable mizers that have the "Hall Monitor" mentality towards their ponds... how miserable is your life that you won't allow a catch and release fisherman to enjoy your pond for a few hours? Tbh, I don’t think he was a Karen. Yea, he kicked Tyler out but he seemed hesitant to do so and it’s hard to regulate a place where people come play nice then trash up your place. Hard to tell who’s real and who’s not.

The Fishbrain app is just a guide. Its not the panacea formula using “top 5 baitS”. Ive used baits not recommended on the app in many ponds, and the app sucks.
