Now that was a Canadian winter storm that compares to the storms we had in the 70’s & 80’s. March comes in like a lion, goes out like a lamb. I think we will have an early wet spring. 🇨🇦🙏🇨🇦
@@susanparker1374 I remember standing at the front door with my 2 sisters waving to my parents climbing into the Airport Transport van that we could barely see at the end of the driveway because of the snow drifts as they headed for the Bahamas at the end of March. Thanks for that forgotten memory🥰
I had no issue with my Subaru... People gotta learn to buy snow tires and also learn how to drive in these conditions! When coming to a stop... don't leave it in drive... put it in gear 2 or 3 and slowly shift it back to "D" once your speed has picked up. All season tires are only for 3 seasons!
That's why I won't move from Hillsborough California. Summer is only around 70 degrees, no air conditioner at home. Winter is not cold, no snow. wonderful weather, nice people, and the American best police officers, The world's richest guy lived here before. the bay area is full of the world's top high-tech companies. The Children have tons of possibilities.....
I agree. We get these people from down south who come up to Northern Ontario with all seasons and they end up in the ditch. Snow tires make a big difference. I know because I live in the north. Here's another misconception if you have a 4x4 it will help you get going but when it comes to stopping and traction you're just like everyone else without winter tires, a hazard.
There are other factors that come into play that contribute to traction such as the weight of the vehicle but your generation is so stuck on snow tires being the Jesus of safe travel that you feel you can drive like indy car racers regardless of conditions.
Ahhh seeing this storm reminds me of the time my father (who was one of those all season people) went in the ditch. 401 WB to 410 on-ramp. Got him snow tires after that and never went back to 3 season tires 😂
@Ryan S Yeah I know it's not the best, but it might be better than the other cars on the road. I also keep a shovel and other emergency equipment in case I do get stuck.

Too much snow is annoying and dangerous, but I still sometimes miss it. We didn't have proper snow fall in Germany since like 2006 or so. Ever since we only get a light dusting once or twice every 2 years or so, which melts away within a few hours. Whether man-made or not, climate change definitely is a thing and I'm saying that as a political right winger.
What car you have, that you dont stuck also like many others. Great video, you have had really much snow guys. Cant remember when we have had here in Europe.
