I absolutely should not be laughing as hard as I am 😂 I spent 8 years in the Marine Corps and there were times I was so exhausted on deployment, that there were just never enough energy drinks/coffee to get that second wind…. I can’t believe he survived that 2 weeks and “got bored” when he thought he was dying.

when i was in FDF at 90's, we had our first "camp" at NCO school. we had this breaking day, it was second to last day before end of that drill where we had to bee moving our signal posts around for 5 days almost no sleep. well breaking day was we had to lay phone cable for about 8 hours and then come back and reel that cable back, people were so tired that they fell a sleep standing where they stopped walking. i don't think that they do that anymore.

@@Gibbetoo I don’t think they do that anymore either, but I definitely remember the feeling of being so exhausted but somehow still functioning but feeling like I was asleep. I don’t know how that works lol, muscle memory maybe?

He wasn't supposed to share the Pervitin with his mates at that time because he was the only one who really needed it. Remember that he was the one making the skiing track for the whole group through the unpacked snow, which is a really tough job. The rest of them had an easier job skiing behind him and they made it even without Pervitin. I also heard somewhere that in addition to the pills being stuck together, he wouldn't have really known what the size of a one pill was and how the amount would effect him because he normally didn't care for taking it. That's why he had all of them in the first place.

In Germany almost everyone took Pervitin during this time. This made the Blitzkrieg possible. If you can walk for days, that's an advantage.

Yeah, but Germany noticed the side effects of the pervitin and started to get rid of the product to the conclusion of the German leaders, "lets dumpt the pervitin to the Finland".. 🤣

Aimola did stay once as an experiment, so I wasn't hooked. That amount of skiing in snow gith out the trackis incredible. But that two weeks is not correct, it was probably three days, U can correct you if I remember wrongly.

Yeuuup back In the good old days where soldiers could OD on drugs and become a one man army 😂😂 hell half of the entire German army was so drugged up that by the time it started to wear off, most of the British army was able to escape at Dunkirk 😂
