This cover made me truly appreciate the lyrics in a deeper way. The voices of Orpheus and Eurydice bring new life to Sara Bareilles and Ingrid Michaelson's words, beautifully connecting to the themes of seasons and renewal woven throughout Hadestown. Anaïs Mitchell's musical is already perfect as it is, but this feels like a further epilogue or continuation of the story, with Orpheus wandering the earth until he and Euridyce can be reunited in the field of the Blessed, as in the ancient myths.

Since this song & album is released I have been wondering who does that very high note between 0:15 - 0:16 that sounds so clean and clear ✨ Also, let me just say that anything Reeve & Eva sing as a duet becomes super awesome! Their voice and art together is so, so good.
