Climb aboard #40 as she pulls her five-car train uphill toward Lahaska, through a white-blanketed Bucks County, PA.
The whistle on the locomotive is a Central Railroad of New Jersey 3-chime replica; identical to that which will sound on the CNJ 0-6-0 #113 in Minersville PA.

WOW no video has ever captured the true beauty of steam on rails until now. This is why I am proud to be a railway enthusiast and have my hands on steam machines!

Nice video! This is probably the best editing and video that I have seen of the New Hope and Ivyland Railroad ever. Fantastic shots and they are so clear! Nice cab and wheel shots too! That engineer really did a great job! Thanks for sharing!

1. Len's comment = priceless 2. Final shot is superior 3. Glad to see I started a trend having Shaun ride the tender 4. Casey spent the entirety of his life on 40 for the second half of December and this video recognizes his efforts

Nice shots Joe!!! God I love those old trains. I used to be obsessed with them as a kid. I've never seen such up-close shots of the engineer doing his job. Great work!

I think this one is the best one yet. Great quality. Great sounds. I have no idea how you get such a variety of shots and manage to melt them together so that there aren't any abrupt switches. It seems like there must be 4-5 guys filming this together.

I think I rode with the engineer of 40 in this video when he was conductor on one if the trains. Took a cab ride in the gp30 with him.
