City of Hewitt Police Department: We have shutdown Spring Valley Road down between Sierra Slope and Tahoe Trail due to ice. The road IS NOT passable and we currently have vehicles stuck. TxDOT has been notified and will sand the area. The roads are covered in ICE!!! Residential roads are very treacherous around Hewitt. If you don’t have to get out - stay put.
