Winter Survival Boots
In this video I talk about how I made my winter leather mukluk boots. The concept is based off a turn-shoe style footwear, however I built the upper to extend below my knees. The bark tanned deerskin keeps the boot waterproof, sheep fur keeps my foot and ankle warm, and the black bear fur has a thick hide and adds a beautiful look to the boot.
The final analysis of these boots perform extremely well, high grip strength, very water proof and warm. The rubber soles on the bottoms are completely in tact after climbing trees and jagged rocks. The process of adding more rubber layers once or twice a year can be done as well.
This process took me about two months to make from start to finish and I am very happy with how they turned out. I will use these boots every winter to keep my feet warm and comfy. If you have any questions please leave a comment below and I will do my best getting back to you.
Thank you for watching, I appreciate everyone.

So I mixed together E6000 with rubber shavings that I used a wood rasp up to get the shavings. Came up with a great sole material

Ya, I used rubber cement. I would like a more primitive method, but this way will last very long
