Bonnie, I’m so in love with your work! I’m left handed and not many videos are easy for me to follow and of course I’m seventy and I’ve been crocheting about two years. I bought a couple of your books. I’m also dyslexic, found this out later in life. You are just so precious to me. My husband found out he has cancer, stage 3-4 in February and I tag along with my big crochet bag and portable oxygen for myself while he gets a treatment. 52 years of doing hair and smelling hairspray took a toll on my lungs. I’m so blessed to follow your videos on RU-vid with my smartphone. I hope you know you have a ministry. Thank you! thank you! thank you, and God bless you!

Dear Christy, I'm so very sorry to hear of your situation, especially with your dear husband's cancer. I will add you to my prayer list. Having helped my mom with oxygen, I have a vague idea of your struggle and limitations that can bring. May God bless all you do as you seek to serve your husband and others you meet at the hospital and along the way. I do have this design in a left-handed format, and I hope this helps you in a small way. If you ever need help finding a left-handed version, just contact me directly at bonniebay@me.com. The throw is making up beautifully, and I'm really excited to watch it grow and finally see it finished. Many thanks to you. May the Lord bless and keep you always in His peace. 😊😊❤❤

As long as you can confidently crochet evenly in rows Julia, and know the basic crochet stitches (sc,dc, hdc, tr, etc,), you should give it a go! Maybe trying small samples of the stitches would helpful before making that 200+ starting chain.

Bonnie, you have the most awesome tutorials, I'm making this one for my step-Dad in Australia, I'm from NZ, he's 94 soon and feels the cold even though he's in Cairns so i can't wait to make it for him. I'm using Lion Brand landscape and it's starting to look awesome, I'm definitely going to put up on my channel plus tag you to it. Thanks so much for the tutorial ❤

Using a binder to cut tassel strands is genius! I My tip is to take your tassels/fringe from the outside of a new skein.... You can usually avoid having to steam it.
@BonnieBayCrochet

Great tip Victoria! I have also done that in the past when using larger skeins.

@@tennysoneffie6943 you may be able to find a maker of these on Etsy or other platform. I'm keeping my version for our home or special gift. I've found that folks aren't eager to pay what these are really worth when considering the time invested. I hope you can find a crafter who does these!
