Showing how to winterize my 2021 Mastercraft NXT24. This boat has the 6.0L Ilmore V8, should be the same for newer NXT22's and NXT20's if you have the same motor.
Great video, 2023 have 2 hoses laying at bottom, one on each side with yellow caps. And a garden hose port to run water or dump antifreeze in. And a valve to shut the through hull water intake
Careful with the garden hose port, my 2021 has that also but with no pressure while putting in the antifreeze it doesn't suck in enough - thats why I put it straight in the main intake hose as shown 👍
I just ran about 8 gallons of antifreeze through my water intake and still couldn’t get any antifreeze out of the exhaust. I am going to call mastercraft on Monday to see if this is normal. From your video, I couldn’t see any coming out of your exhaust either (only water, or many alcohol from the antifreeze).
That doesn't apply for most modern engines as they have a bypass for the thermostat. I have a winterizing video on my channel that talks about this and shows you how to verify this on your engine.
