Good video. I’m convinced these labels have been put on wrong on almost all the same trailers. I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong last year. Think your right about the Friday thing.

Thanks for the feedback. The labels are very confusing to say the least.

Nice video. Very helpful. We have the same trailer and need to winterize as well. Thanks!

Tks. I would have forgotten about the black tank sprayer. We’ve got the 29 bhs. Yea they were drunk when they labeled the valves like yours. Didn’t Make sense.

Those stickers are my biggest pet peeve with the campers. It’s got to be the cheapest thing on the whole camper to fix, yet keystone can’t seem to figure it out. I have 9 keystones in my rental fleet and they are ALL confusing.

It’s definitely frustrating.

Great video. I was not 100% sure about those bypass controls and you clarified that. Thanks. You stated you leave the low point drains and water heater drain open thru the winter. Are you not concerned about getting bugs in any of those open drain lines? Also, I noticed you have a "Giggy box" for your main 12v power on/off. With all the electrical problems I had on my brand new Bullet Supreme, I 3D printed a "giggy key" to switch the 12v power on/off with the Giggy box cover removed. If you have a 3d printer, I can send you the STL file of the key if desired.

Thanks for the feedback. I’m up in Canada and we don’t have too many bugs out in the winter but I see how that could be an issue. I don’t have a 3D printer but I’ve thought about getting one. If I ever do, I’ll take you up on that offer!

Great video. Very informative. Do you use a cover over your RV if stored outside?
@skymountainfarm
@skymountainfarm Год назад
I keep this RV inside so I don’t have one. If I did have to keep it outside I don’t think I would use a cover. I’ve seen them flapping around in the wind so not sure if that’s better then being exposed to the weather.

Thank you for this. One thing I didn’t see covered. The black and gray tanks. Other than draining should antifreeze be put in those? Some of it will run down into it from the antifreeze going down the drain thru the lines but any need to dump some more down the toilet or in one of the sinks for the gray?

I’ve always found that the anti freeze that runs out of the faucets is enough but it never hurts to put a bit extra down the drain.

@@skymountainfarm got it. Thanks again! I have a Bullet Premier so very similar set up to your trailer. Video is very helpful

How do I know if my bypass valve sticker is backwards? I don't want to suck any antifreeze in my hot water tank
@skymountainfarm
@skymountainfarm Год назад
I took out my anode rod from the hot water tank and then turned on my water pump to see if it was filling the hot water tank. You’ll need water in your fresh tank to check this.

Did you blow out your outside shower inside your control panel and also the water line that’s on the back of the trailer on the right side?
@skymountainfarm
@skymountainfarm Год назад
Yes, I ran anti freeze through the outdoor faucet but I’m not aware of another line on the back of the trailer. I’ll go take a look. Thanks for the heads up!
@burnsy319

@@skymountainfarm it is just to the left of your outside kitchen. Just a small round black cap that opens. Another quick connect like your outside shower!

I took a look and I don’t have that port. I wish I did instead of only having outdoor water on the backside of the trailer.

Nobody I know it’s antifreeze in there freshwater system. If you drain it all out you don’t need it.
@skymountainfarm

Had friends try that and cracked a couple fittings in low points that didn’t drain. Figured I’d be safe and keep with the antifreeze.
