Lyin' Rampant were formed in Ayrshire in 1982 as part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal and released a single album Up and Cumin' - yes it was the eighties and Scottish rock band double entendres were prevalent! They were tipped for big things but unfortunately they split in 1991. Roll on to 2023 and Shock City promotions in Glasgow added them to their curated band list for the Sessions Stage at WinterStorm and following a band pulling out Lyin' Rampant were promoted to opening the main stage. Even for the fans of old there were probably limited expectations but the guys took control of the opportunity and produced a polished and powerful performance and more than one over the several hundred fans in already. They carried this on touring in support of Graham Bonnet across the UK
