As WinterStorm followers are well aware Jim Kirkpatrick played a pivotal and catalytic role in the genesis of the event and, since that fateful night in 2015, Jim has been a supporter and confidante for the organisers and has appeared with FM and as part of the After the 'Storm acoustic sessions with Steve Overland.
This is the first time however that Jim Kirkpatrick has performed his own materials with his own band and it was just a towering performance.
This track, "Always On The Road" is taken from the 2023 album release Ballad Of A Prodigal Son which is a superb collection of blues infused rock.
