After coming across a year-old comment of mine praising Jari's incredibly clean solo, I still find myself coming back to this video every time that Time II itch sets in. Which is almost daily.
I can't believe how amazing Wintersun is. I had listened to The Way of the Fire before but not this quality. It's impossible to believe that there are songs even better than the ones of the debut and Time I albums. This band rules my world. Thanks guys. Hey, come to Chile, we'll give you the show of your life!.
I wait for Time II with the same passion I waited 8 years for Time I. Literally can't wait to hear studio version of The Way Of The Fire so loud in my speakers!
Wintersun was one of the most phenomenal live bands I have ever seen. Jari may be the main song writer but you can tell the whole band takes pride in their performance. Plus I just found out that the other guitarist was from Imperanon and the bassist is from Norther. Also the drummer Kai I already knew was from Rotten Sound. Kind of a top notch line up here.
That intro riff.. I fucking love it! God seeing this song and the other songs live just inspired me to play guitar more! This band is fucking amazing live and I was up front too!! WINTERSUN!!!!!!!!!!! Release Time II already!
The wait is almost over now :) I'm very pleased that the studio version of the intro is even better. More gentle and subdued and then the song just explodes with the heavenly riff
Can't wait for Time II. I really liked Time I But i thought it was too short (Songs are damn amazing though) and the mixing on the guitars and drums weren't as good but Jari said that those instruments will be mixed better in Time II. I can't wait to listen to both Time I and II back to back
It's kinda painful to read comments from 10 years ago about the inability to wait for the album. But we're finally here. 3½ months to go for the release of Time II. Finally.
I am so pissed I missed this tour. I has tickets for Wheaton MD, but then the venue was changed at the last minute to Baltimore and could not go there. Jari needs to go back to guitar and vocals live.
You didn't wait 8 years for it, it was "only" 6 years wait :D But doesn't matter anymore because it's released :) And hopefully next spring we all are listening to Time II !
So what? New Necrophagist album still officially not announced and everyone is waiting. The next day after Time II will be released, I will be waiting for another record. It has nothing to do with being announced or not.
First: Actually it is easy.A lot of compression on the kick drum makes the consistent sound possible. some drummers use triggers to achieve the consistency especially when playing faster than 180bpm 16th notes on the kicks. Second: Do really think that they want the audience to hear a metronom? Third: Yes,Kai uses a metronom on his IN EAR monitors in ordner to stay in sync with the backing tracks. But what matters is that Kai also PLAYS consistently without any sound processing at all! cheers
