Would have really loved to see how to set up the plastic legs of the hotas.

They are actually aluminum. There are 4 square nuts that slide into the profile, one is a slot and one is a hole. It's s fair pain to get them lined up and the screws into the nuts, best take off the spring so you can move the pedals out of the way. Once you get the screws in you can adjust them to where you want and tighten them. I found that the pedals moved a bit on the floor, but I quickly mounted them anyways

Thanks for the review. I'm still on the WinWing pedals pre-order list and I also happened to see your VKB T-Rudder review. So in your opinion, which rudder is better for helicopter flying?

I saw they were in stock and canceled my pre-order and just placed another order, and they shipped the next day. IDK why, but I never got any emails that they were in stock or to complete my pre-order.

@FalconsLedge Do you think it would be possible to have this type of rudder pedal's base mounted on a board kind of like you have it on 14:30 to mimic the real thing on planes?

@@FalconsLedge The thing I am not familiar is how to get the pedals to work in that orientation. I wonder if Thrustmaster has a patent on it since I would love to see more competition to the to tpr pedal so the price can come down a bit.

@@alexandsimba maybe I'm misunderstanding, I use them attached to my simpit, they are elevated about 2.5" and mounted flat, they work great and are perfect with my car seat in my simpit

@@FalconsLedge What I'm wondering is why rudder pedal sellers don't mimic the Thrustmaster tpr pedal style of having them standing vertically instead of laying flat on the floor. Kind of like how you flipped it in the video.

I've skipped through. I really hope those pedals turn out medium term to be really good, my one and only pedal purchase (not including sim racing). Thanks for the video, nice ball bearing observation but they are pretty large and they have to make money selling replacement parts.

the type of bearing is similar to some other industrial bearings, it may be just fine as is. I would've loved to see sealed bearings there, but no doubt that size of sealed bearing would be more expensive. Also, to my knowledge WW, VKB, and Virpil don't make much on parts.

@@Fester_ yeah I think Skywalker is the official, I just saw a pic somewhere with Orion branding, I think it was pre production or something
