im sad that they didn't keep bloom's fashion style, this doesn't feel like a reboot. It feels like a new show entirely. But I get it, I'm no longer the target audience.
I know right...I was like what is this? I'm being super picky but Bloom would never leave a burnt book to sink in her fish's tank?😭 she's not that animal lover in the group necessarily but she has Kiko and knows what it's like to have a pet. Like...Also you're right. Her fashion is a little different but whatever. I guess this is aimed at Gen Alpha. I'll still watch it. I hope they don't dumb down the emotional aspects of it.
@@katgreer6113 me too! I'll still be watching this despite the major changes. I do hope it exceeds expectations and srsly wish that they don't change her origin story. 🥹
@@crokiscute679 no offense but you guys can also look past the fashion? the creator said they're also thinking about the adult fans so the stories are not going to be just for kids and toddlers, they want them to be similar to the first seasons, isn't that relevant too? or is it just me interested in that.
@@areadergirl8449 no offense but dont you have any reading comprehension? I never said that I hated her new style, we will still watch it despite all the changes. We aren't hating on the reboot. fashion wasn't just mere clothes, its what made them unique, it was part of their character, that's why I said that it felt like a new show. I'm like 💯 percent sure, that this will not be the same Winx that I grew up in. Which we will soon find out if it's a good or bad thing, once the reboot is out.
@@crokiscute679I think her point is that it's annoying how adults are constantly complaining about minor aspects of the reboot because they can't let go of their childhood; ruining the fun for everyone else over a show that isn't for them anymore.
Comic Con looks better in both exanples Hope that it's the finalized version the models details placement colors and lightning are way better in the comic con version and look more finished
Many people were criticizing that the winx no longer looks like the winx, and should bring back the og 3d style, but times have changed now, the targeted audience (kids) doesn't want the og style. If the creators want to keep up and over shadow other new TV shows then they will have to adapt to new and modern, trending art styles. This is just basic marketing, it's understandable people miss the og, but the new also looks good
Well they would make more money if they DID market this to adult fans of the original. It’s far more common for adults to watch cartoons nowadays than when the original aired. The Owl House, The Dragon Prince, She-Ra, Zoltron, etc were all primary watched by adults and older teenagers. Not to mention the original fans who ASKED for a better reboot than Fate: The Winx Saga. I really don’t know what Rainbow is doing. This is going to flop just like season 8 aka their other attempt at a reboot. Are they trying to shove this franchise into the grave??
My thoughts about the two versions of the clip: 1.) The Winx Club logo for the ninth season looks perfect, and I love it! 💖 2.) I prefer the first clip shown at the Comic Con. It could be because of the restroom and Mitzi's appearance. But if the two are different from the final animation for the reboot, I hope they'll make better changes for the exact finalized animation and art style before airing the series on TV. 3.) Bloom's outfit here looks good, but I prefer her top and skirt outfit that I saw posted on Twitter. It's a yellow crop top with a blue denim vest over it and a blue skirt with a pink belt buckled on. It's better than the one she wears in both two clip versions. 4.) I understand some of the other fans' disappointment over the art style for the reboot, but it doesn't entirely look bad to me. At least it looks better than the previous season, where the characters look childish. 5.) Whether the animation or art style is either 2D or 3D, I'm glad they made Bloom and Mitzi look like teenagers again for this new season, just like in seasons 1-7, not in season 8. 🥰👌👏 6.) Bloom's voice suits her. Nice one! 🤗👏💯 7.) I'm so excited about what the other five girls will look like in their final appearances, and I hope each outfit will be in their color schemes.
Wdym? The comic con on seems like it has a lower framerate and the shading is so dark you can't really see the details of Bloom's room. I thought that scene was taking place at nighttime until I looked at the window. Bloom's hair is also stiffer too. I'd say that one is the older one
@@nikki4803comic con looks better, frame rate is low cause it is a leak pbly but you can tell feedback was provided for the trees, characters eyes like mitzi and obviously blooms hair. Hair on the channel one moves awkwardly and it is one step less rendered than comic cons the shine is more dull
ITS NOT WRONG FOR OLD FANS TO VOICE THEIR OPINION WITH THE WINX. LET THEM BE, THEY DESERVE TO VOICE IT SINCE SOME OF THEM HAVE BEEN FANS SINCE THE EARLY 2000s.
@@atIlacelio_I think he thought the comic con trailer was the one the upload on RU-vid, since the models on the one on RU-vid are not the final model designs we have seen, the one in comic con has the final designs
I actually dig this animation!!! I think its going to be a huge improvement compared to their CGI movies one! Im hopefully their transformations are gonna be magical!
Honestly the bar for Winx has been so low ever since season 8, this looks decent at least I'm actually excited I'm a grown man now I'm almost embarrassed I still watch Winx but honestly I want it to never die
It seems all its still in testing process but the comic con one with the last part seems to be how the show will look since it’s almost polished and finished
@@jeshuarestituyo284what are you talking about? The comic con version looks extremely unfinished, I’m a animator myself and I can tell you the comic con version isn’t the final product 😅
@@PINKIE-SNOWIE-BUNNYi mean none of this is the "final product," it's all an animation test. they mean it's the closest to how the official show will look
@@PINKIE-SNOWIE-BUNNYnon of them are final product i just think that the comic con version look prettier while the winx club channel look interesting....
I may be an og fan, but at least I can get behind this newer style as opposed to whatever seasons 6-8 were. I do miss the older style of season 3, but this actually looks good and NOT and insult to the audience! Seriously, it does not look like it is directly aimed at 2 years olds. That said, I sincerely hope they have it more detailed like the comic con version. The bathroom in that version was quite interesting. Don't go for "realistic" Rainbow, go for world building.
Animation wise, it looks like the comic con version is stepped animation and the channel version uses some interpolation to make it smoother. I kinda like the stepped tbh.
@@muhammadathillajunaidi8872 Yeah your right it would be incredibly cringy if they cept Mitzi an annoying little bully for Bloom. Let's just hope they don't give her the Chloe bourgeois treatment.
I like Winx Club Channel version in way it's remembering me of those old Barbie movies with that graphic style. Back to childhood - more like i feel about it. Comic Con version has a better dinamics in movements, and a better toilet lol(but im not sure if a regular town school would have this kind of it). But i feel like something's off about that smile, like it doesn't suit her(in my opinion), and those super cartoon emotions in toilet scene that doesn't feel real, while in youtube version Bloom was really scared in a moment and just do the first thing in mind: saving her and someone's life despite fear. Remembered me of old winx.
@@PINKIE-SNOWIE-BUNNY this aged well Ignio confirmed that the final version is close to the Comicon 😭 bruh i for sure thought it was the the RU-vid version 😭
I like the background and the animation in winx club channel. It looks so much realistic but the expression and model looks better in comicon, I couldnt pick one lol
Comic con one feels like it fits the winx universe and aesthetic more tbh, the same goes for the forest too. the channel one looks a bit bland (and too generic? Idk-), hopefully comic con version is the direction they’re heading with like how some ppl mention the news of it
As a younger Winx Club fan who has watched all the seasons i gotta say its promising i see a lot of people saying that they shouldn't have change the fashion much by which i cant agree on its called a reboot for a reason and i think the clothing is fine sure Bloom has an ugly outfit but the girly believes fairies in highschool and fits Bloom's personality on the first season of winx club
@@PINKIE-SNOWIE-BUNNY That doesn't make it any better actually, most people can see through the lies of "Marketing" for this sort of situation, many Winx fans even Children can tell the difference. Calling it Season 9 for Marketing is like beating and milking dead cow for content while everyone looks at you in disgust.
@@starorcarina8525the reason why some people called it season 9 is because there was a leak models of how the Winx will look like and it saids season 9 so i can see why people are confused
I hope the New Winx Club will be cool and cute! And have long Season and Episode. I wonder if the Season and Episode will release in One Day and One Month just DreamWorks Dragons: The Nine Realms!
Look, I love it so far (been a Winx fan since the show aired) BUT why the pink? I had hoped they'd return to giving each girl her distinct color palette. Pink is Flora's color. Bloom's color is blue with some yellow thrown in. Other than that, I like that Bloom is an artist and an awkward teenager again. Thanks for that.
I'm delighted that the personality, figures, and little things like eye movements and lips, nose twitches are all there. Things that boys will love about girls and lean towards making the right choices in life.
It looks good, I still prefer the old drawn animation and the OG seasons but I will give it a goal. 😇 I do hope that scenario will be mature and not infantilised like from S5-S8. 😅
Narrator: Later at the Cartoon Cafe... Bloom: Let me guess. Your show's got rebooted but your rivals have returned and they still haven't changed their ways? Samantha: We're gonna ask the same thing to you. Clover: I can't believe Mitzi, Mandy, Caitlin, and Dominique have returned to our new seasons this year! Alexandra: Well at least we're not gonna listen Mandy and Mitzi's old annoying voices anymore. (Bloom, Sam, and Clover stares angrily at Alex) Alexandra: What, too soon?
Well... at least the CG animation doesn't look like it's going to be cheap like a lot of shows aimed at kids tend to look. My only question is why is bloom's hair hip length in the first teaser trailer and then waist length in the scene with Mitzy? Is her hair going to grow longer in the series or will ot stay waist length? I personally love the really long hair of the Winx Club characters and hope that's kept. Not many shows have females with nice really long hair. Exception being shoujo shows like Sailor Moon. I can't lie. What actually grinds my gears a little is that they left that big plothole/cliffhanger with Icy's backstory in season 8 and never resolved it. That makes me so annoyed.
im looking forward to this it doesnt have to be the same give it a chance if skys gonna be in it thats all that matters hahaha just kidding no really i love sky. When does it premiere
In 1:00 the face is better on the left, the hair is better on the right. The fashion is awful in every section of this video ,what is going on with that..
Im not gonna spoil you or anything but the final outfit got leak and blooms wearing a yellow shirt blue outfit and blue skirt and bracelets they only keep the legwarmers and the shoes and the pants.
Did you forget her killing sky? Or her working for the embodiment of evil? Or her taking over the magic dimension? Her storyline was flatline pathetic.
