The animation seemed more creative than what we got in season 1, the outfits are less revealing and such a tame outfit fits Bloom's initial personality better. I am not a fan of Flora's first design and I am torn on Musa's. The chinese/japanese aspect of her character is not yet present and she is presented more as an elf/actual fairy of music. Eh, she was probably changed for diversity, same reason Layla/Aisha is the way she is.

@Miraculous Dreamer Forever thats not true? straffi spent 100,000€ for magical bloom, but the audience didnt like it so he threw everything away and created the winx club we know today. u can look it up
