Many politicians can learn from Dr M on how to handle a tough (interesting - in his own words) interview. Seeing this with an unbiased view. The anchor was amazing. Asked tough questions and ended up with a sweet one. Dr Mahathir did Very well indeed. He kept everything in control and was calm throughout. At 95 he is amazing.
This is a true Politician answering questions. Quite inspiring personality at age 95! In India "minority" have reservations and concessions in premier educational institutes and government jobs. In Malaysia, majorities (Muslims) are allowed to get scholarships in educational institutes and only Muslims in government jobs are in higher positions. This is a reason Tamil in Malaysia are economically poor, undeveloped and Chinese are only in Business. Oil money blessed this country and as a tourist I found locals are quite warm and nice people.
I felt like questions were already known to Mr. Mahathir, he dodged most of them efficiently. Anyway, this face saving interview won't change Indian mindset about him.
