I’ve been working on Inspiration of Spring Meadows, it’s large and very confetti heavy. Today I finally had Winter Solace delivered. I’ve waited for this to be restocked since I discovered Diamond Art in January of 2023. So happy I found diamond painting as it relaxes me and definitely helps with my stress ❤

Hi Katie, my Android doesn't have a lot of emojies. Actually I am so afraid I will do something and my phone will no longer work. This is what happens when you first experience on learning computers is with keypunch. Ask your Mom. I am sorry for calling you by your first name in the Chat with Shay. That will not let that happen again. I have on my phone notification of earthquakes. So, I knew the Ventura County one was coming. Definitely a a strong rolling motion. My dog Herschel never barked. However, every aftershocks we had, which I never felt, he barked. My Seismichund. I am no way ready to do a Cross Stitch conversion. Besides my caregiver would erupt like Mt. St. HELENS. She got in the walk-in-closet and re-arranged all my Diamond Paintings. I had separated my DAC, from my Make Mark, my Make Mark from my Diamond Dotz, and my Diamond Dotz from my TEMU. Plus, I had separated from the rest what I had not finished. Now, everything is messed up. I put things where I want them, because this is how my ADHD brain works. Of course my caregiver thinks ADHD is an excuse for everything I do. Oh Malibu is deciding to my yesterday's earthquake theirs. Fine let them. Usually Malibu burns. I never married nor had children, so I can't relate to how you feel about your children returning to school. I know how I felt as a child. I hated returning to school. I was always behind. I was bullied by this one girl and her Posse. My Grandma verbally abused me. Calling me Dumb, Stupid,Retarded, ugly and homely. Fun not. This did not stop until my Dad went on days. Right now I am working on Dashshund Puppy for Diamond Grandma's #Oceanlife23. I am reading on Goodbooks a book on QAnon. Very interesting book. I have a degree in Human Behavior, so this book is up my alley. On Audiobooks I am listening to a book on the Cosmos by Neil DeGrasse Tyler. Excellent book. Astronomy is one of my loves. I could never figure out why I had panic attacks when working with square drills. Now I know why. When I was a little girl I went around the edge of the backyard and kicked over all the bricks my Dad had just laid. So, my Dad woke me up at 5am. Spanked my butt, and taught me how to prepare cement. I had to re-lay every last brick. That was my panic attack 60 years later. Now, I will work with my therapist on this issue. Suppose to rain some more today. Question, are you having a problem find honey. My caregiver was in several groceries stores and there was none? Love your WIP and Chats. Keep up the great work.

That canvas is coming along beautifully! Go ahead and part with the baby stuff! I kept the beautiful cherrywood crib/dresser/changing tabke set I bought new when my first son was born, wven after it went theough all 3 of my sons! When my son had his first baby 28 years later, I dragged it all out of the garage, cleaned and polished it, and spent $250 to ship it to Florida where he is currently living. He then used it for about a week, then a bolt fell out of one of the crib legs, so he took the whome thing down, planning to fix it later. Long stoey short, it ended up in the garage of the ex-girlfriend’s parents, never to be seen again. 🤨🤦‍♀️. Take a pic of the items that matter most to you, pit it in their baby books with a brief stoey of why the item mattered to you, and sell it. 😁❤️👍🏻🦄🦄🌷. Have a great week!

🦄Good luck with the new school year! Something you said resonated with me; attachment to things. An audio book that helped me with emotional letting go of stuff is ‘Decluttering at the Speed of Life’ by Dana White. She understands Americans! LOL Unlike like Marie Kondo, bless her heart. She thinks hobbies can fit into a drawer. 🤨

Glad you and your family did okay during the storm. I know what you mean about emotionally attaching to things - I have a lot of purging to do but have to be in the right mood or I won't get rid of things. I'm trying to finish up my current WIP ("Something in the Air" by Marc Allante/DAC) prior to Drills and Chills. I was on vacation for a week and came home with that virus no one wants, so I lost some DP time there, but got a good chunk done over the weekend since I didn't push myself to do much else. I always watch to the end but always forget to do the emoji, but I remembered today! 🦄

Katie I about choked on my dinner when you mentioned my question about Low-Fi art work. LOL Anyway thank you for the response and for trying so hard to define it. Sometimes we cant define art, it very much can be much more of a feeling. Very happy to hear you all are safe. I had no idea any of that was going on over there. Im in Kentucky, I work for the Ft. Knox Army Command so I dont really hear a whole lot about the west coast goings on. Also in Florida just keep your eyes on it I can't count the times we (floridan's) though the Strom was over and it would go back out to sea and pick up more strength and come back and really kick some but* just get supplies having and escape route is good too if you had to leave witch way you could go and the traffic is alot sending prayer we ha about 4 coming our way if they all formed I hope not.

Hey Katie! I am from Florida, so I can empathize with you! Tropical storm warnings are the first and sometimes all you get. Flashlight batteries, flash lights, canned food, a can opener , candles, lighter, and pick anything loose, lawn furniture, trash cans etc and put in garage.

I feel your pain on the video game kindness, it took me such a long time to teach my little one about how toxic he was being and how to handle other people being toxic online. I have seen such an improvement in his behaviour over the last year and he’s so much better now. He still has moments, but rather than rage - he now walks away and takes a break. It will get better, hold in there. ❤

I am exhausted because this past weekend, my daughter and I went camping for our yearly camping trip, so I’m still trying to get back in the swing of things. And how are you liking the release paper? I know you've talked about it before but I can't remember what if there were any "cons" or tricks with it. 🦄 I cqn definitely empathise with you - I feel like my anxiety gets worse depending on what stage of my cycle I’m in. I suffer from endometriosis and adenomyosis so I also experience extremely horrible chronic fatigue. I get really irritable and snappy. Both of my younger brothers are on the spectrum and growing up with them wasn’t always easy… especially when I felt overwhelmed and wanted no sensory stimulation.

Hi Katie x I would love to do a cross stitch conversion. I love seeing your progress on this. I hope your boys have a great time in there new routine/school. I've had a bad week as my smallest fur baby is ill. I don't have small humans (I couldn't have them) I did want a football team though lol 😂. Well Maisie has an ear infection and a burst ear drum and been of her food antibiotics made her ill ect. I totally wish I could do the pain and healing for her (she is a dog by the way). Is Adam OK? I heard him coughing a few times. I hope he is OK. I hope your parents love there cruise and take many more trips now that your mum has retired fully. My dad retired and then took on a part time job as a handy man at a local large shopping store and he loved it for a few years. Anyway thank you for this wip and chat I haven't watched one for a while x 🦄 I hope you all have a great week x x

Glad you guys didn't get much from your tropical storm. I lived in Florida south Florida for 36 years. I am all too familiar with hurricanes and tropical storms. I also lived in San Francisco so I've experienced a couple earthquakes too LOL never a hurriquake though lol. I have a couple of questions. The first one storing your diamond paintings in the garage is it okay to do that? You mentioned that you do have some of yours in there. I worry about temperature heat and or cold I live in Indiana so we have all the seasons. Is it okay to store them year around in the garage? Also, is it better to use wax in your single Placer and putty in your multi Placer? I've been strictly using one or the other.

Glad your back to your cross stitch conversion and getting joy… one of those is on my DP bucket list but that’s a future project. Currently working on lotus and almost done, and just finished listening to fourth wing! Girrrrllll read it it’s good!!! It lived up to its TikTok hype for me. This week has been an anxious one for me too my oldest started school for the first time so we are adjusting to all the new things and new schedules…. 🦄

How do you store your WIPs? I'm new to this craft and currently only work on 1 piece at a time but I just got Artemis and Soma from DAC and reallllly want to start one, and I just kitted up another and am working on it, but I have limited space to keep my WIP

I have a really really hard time watching tv shows or movies, but wierdly dont mind at all starting a 5 hour true crime documentary on youtube. I guess the neuro spiciness has something to do with that 😂
