First time for me (though not live), trying to find something I can make with soon to be excess vinyl material. This craft is going to be perfect for me!!! I LOVE, and always have, the Great instructions, and being delivered in a super easy system and even though i haven't yet followed these yet, i can always tell that I'll be able to not only follow them to a SUPER successful conclusion!!! Thanks, as always, for the easy to follow instructions and delivered in an equally easy way!!! I can't wait to start, so I'll stop typing and start sewing!!! All the best to you, your staff, and followers!!! Michele Lejeune
I love to make these little faux leather pouches. I also like to make them a little larger and before turning right side out I box out the bottom. People love ‘em!
Hi Vanessa, happy belated! I just watched and followed this tutorial. It's so cute and perfect! I've been wanting to use my zippers and my faux leather more & here I am! 😅 I hope you are enjoying the retreat❤❤❤
I have a good sized piece of "faux vinyl ribbon" (don't know where or when I got it) but think I'll use it to make your little pouch! Thank you Vanessa, Crafty Gemini! Love watching you on Wednesdaya
Jalie I just found you and WOW you're an amazing teacher with awesome skills! The pouch is adorable and you're adorable. Gosh I could close my eyes and hear Michelle Obama 🤗 Thank you for sharing and I'll probably be binge watching you thru Christmas🎄 with the weather we're going to have. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Vanessa, I just got my T-Shirt "Pretty Sides Touching" Today.. I Love the Blue color. It's in the washer now so I can wear it soon ! 😁👏 I have been using that phrase when I'm sewing, a Grt one to remember.. I got the XL T-Shirt for Xtra comfy room & it looked like a appropriate correct women's size XL before washing (it won't go N2 dryer). I'm 5'3" & 150#s.. Thanks for the Signed Thk U card & Sticker.. I will attach the cute thread sticker to my sewing machine 👍. I So Appreciate your techniques of teaching, I'm always learning new things that I just have taken for granted such as Thread types.. & standard sewing lengths.. after 55 years of Sewing who would have Thought You could Learn New Tricks 🤔. 🤣 Out of 3 daughters belonging to a Seamstress mom, I was the only 1 that Loves Sewing. Thank You for your Great No Nonsense Teaching tricks.
Vanessa, I was wondering if this was "old school". When I was in junior high and in sewing classes, the instructor suggested you secure open zipper teeth to stay in place secure with a safety pin(across the two sides). Any thoughts?
You are not stupid. Take your time. If you have to and have an ipad you can have by your sewing machine, take it step by step. Play the part where she cuts, take notes, and cut. Sew step by step with her. You can do it!!!!😃
