Best wiper motor video so far. My problem is i had to remove the arm from the motor itself. I now feel out of wack. My wiper blades were stuck in the middle of the cycle. So I couldn’t do the tape markings.
Excelente! Muchas Gracias. I had to replace the circuit board on mine. Thought it was the motor but if you jiggled the wire it would work. Turns out the connection was just bad so replaced the circuit board only and works fine now.
Great video!!! I know it's a year old but I have a bizarre situation. I installed a new/used motor. Everything went as planned. It worked perfect. Until I put the blades back on. They sit about an inch from the windshield !!!! I even hit the splined end with a rubber mallet to make sure they were seated down all the way. The blades were put aside and never touched or bent!!!! Any ideas??? (I'm still searching for an answer before I actually physically bend them.)
No worries! Do not bend them not necessary! I will say you will need to remove that cowl again. In the video when i adjust those 2 nuts on the linkage is the problem. When you put the linkage back on the motor you slightly moved its position. To fix you need to losen the adjustments, put the wipers back on and move them to position without cowl on. After that tighten the nuts when you have the wipers in the right place!
Nice. Also, just discovered that if the clips aren't pushed in on the wiper arms, they rest further away from the windshield. so, when testing fitment, push the arm clips in.
Sounds like possibly the bottom of windshield leaking behind dash. If you are in a hot climate and are using the ac all the time you might have a clogged ac drain hose. Moisture buildup. Worst case its not water and its coolant leaking from the heater core that is right above the drivers floor pan
@@julianlindell321 it's not coolant and the ac doesn't work. The windshield gasket looks good. It only happens after rain. It's got to be coming in thru the cowel vent but I can't find anything when I pour water on it. Thanks for the ideas.
