i have a question, if wiping the face is wrong, then what do you do after raising your hands for dua, do you just lower them on your sides after reciting dua?
6 ways to earn deeds after death: 1) Give a copy of the Qur'an to someone. Each time one reads from it you gain. 2) Donate a wheelchair to a hospital. Each time a sick person uses it you gain. 3) Participate in building a masjid. 4) Place a watercooler in a public space. 5) Plant a tree. You gain whenever a person or an animal sits in it's shade or eats from it. 6) And the easiest of all, share this message with people.
This is the first time I’ve heard this , I’ve always seen ppl wiping their face after dua . I have been doing it for 13 yrs 😕 ALLAH forgive me for my ignorance
Waow...I reverted about 5 years ago and i always saw brothers do it so,my responsability,i didn't check or even asked. 5 years!!Astaghfirullah.Thank you very much once again Sheick.Allah Yihfathak
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatu, Sheikh, I reverted to Islam eight months ago, and I have learned a lot from you; I had a lot of doubts about how to pray the Salah according to the teaching of the Prophet Muhammad (saw) and I learned it from you, and all my doubts dissipated with your teaching. Whenever I have doubts about Fiq and/or Aqeedah I turn to you. Jazakallahu Khairan for all your help, if I'm improving as a Muslim is because of you and Allah's ﷻ guidance.
I wanted to ask the same but we won't get a reply here because the account does not belong to the Sheikh, it's a followers account who uploaded the video.
I agreed with this opinion but I've seen this hadith and I'm slightly confused: Jami at Tirmidhi Hadith No. 3386. Umar bin Al-Khattab [may Allah be pleased with him] narrated: “Whenever the Messenger of Allah would raise his hands in supplication, he would not lower them until he had wiped his face with them.”
What sheikh is trying to deliver is there is no hadith sahih. But what you quoted is hadia daif. But there are numerous hadith having the same message. In my opinion, its not haram and i still continue to practice this insya'Allah. May Allah guide us all..
@@husnainrajpoot7313 but I've listened if the hadith (even it is daif) is not against quraan o Sunnah we can accept it If it is daif but it's still a Hadith, what do you say?
Could you please share the 2 ahadith for reference. I believe you. I think it would be good for me to reference and read the hadith myself before I go and share this information with other Muslim brothers and sisters
I have always rubbed my face after making the dua, not sure from where I learned this habits but inshallah I will start correcting myself… blessings of Allah be upon you.
Aisha reported: When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would lie down for sleep, he would blow into his hands, recite the two chapters of refuge, al-Falaq and al-Nas, and he would wipe his hands over his body. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 5960 I am not a scholar, but I would say, if I follow this Hadith after every single prayer or just after making dua, then there is no wrong in wiping hands on body. Allah know the best.
@Talk sense. Then you won't really be following the hadiith now will you? The hadiith clearly says when laying down for sleep and not salah. Don't let shaytan trick you, Act upon the hadiith according to it. No offence intended.
Assalamu alaikum my elder, may Allah reward you infinitely for this video because as small as your message may seem, it has educated me immensely (more than you can imagine). Insha'Allah I will share-post this video in all the deen-related WhatsApp chatgroups I'm a member of so that your message gets across for more brothers and sisters to take note of. May Allah continue to protect and guide you, and preserve you for us the younger ones to learn from and hopefully become better servants of Allah and better emulators of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, amin 🤲🏾🙏🏾 Jazakallah khairan.
Sheik, may I say something, hope it will not offended you....... Your teaching should be "teaching by example"......... You have shown something wrong in our action, BUT you have not shown us what is the right way!! (Keep us wondering without solution).......... Some time i wonder is this the reason why so many sheik now day have big belly ( many talks than action).
Respected Sheikh,, so what does one do after completing the Dua? I see many people have asked this question but no replies. Then what about reading ayaatul kursi and cupping the hands and blowing on one's body?
Jazakallahu khayran. I used to do this all the time. Just after offering fajr i opened youtube and suddenly this popped up on my screen and i opened it. I believe this is from Allah subhanahutaala to correct my dua.. Subhanallahi wabihamdihi subhanallahil Adheem.
According to Sheikh saleh al Fawzan it is not backed up by sunnah but it is permissible and there is no evil on doing it. So theres not really a reason to be advising them no?
I've been told about this two times, first time I heard is not accurate because the person that advice us tell us we should wipe face without touching forehead, then I and the others who heard that proceed to what is advice. Years after that, for the second time I heard a sheikh during his preach tells us that we should not wipe our face at all and this time the sheikh provide us with logic and add more details to it, and he said back then people used to do that because sand might stick to their cloth when perform salah outdoor. ever since then, I never do it again.
Dead Sheikh. It may be an innovation...but is it biddat to do so? If it is not a sin, then what is the problem if someone casts their hands over their faces?
I once read, years ago, Husain was seen wiping his face after dua once and people started doing it because they thought it was necessary. But it seemed like he was wiping his face because it needed to be wiped from sweat or something, not part of making dua. I don't know how true that is, but it is what I read.
Jazakallah kair Shaykh, I used to do it because I seen other Brothers doing it as a revert myself. This is a great reminder to ALWAYS do your own research before doing something or believing as authentic. Barakallah feek
Masha'Allah tabaraq'Allah its very long time ago i want a say to you Ya beloved Sheikh that i am so proud we haved you and i love you for the sake of Allah you are the great & best Sheikh on earth Masha'Allah may Allah reward you jannatul-ferdaus waiting for you and all of us ameen.... Assalamu-alaykom✋
1.So what is wrong with wiping your face? 2.So did prophet p.b.u.h stop or forbid anybody from wiping your face ? 3.The type of clothes sheikh you are wearing please also prove that from Hadith ? 4.The colour of your scarf and also needs to be referenced. 5.People today wear trousers is that ok? List goes on ...there are scholers all-around the world who wipe there faces after duas so they all must be wrong ????top online sheikh please explain
Deeds that reward a person equal to hajj if he does them correctly and sincerly 1. Perform Ablution properly and go for each obligatory salat in Masjid 2. After praying salat Fajr in congregation, then remember Allah(سبحانه و تعالى),by doing dhikr or reading quran, till (15-20 minutes) after sunrise to perform two superogratory rakat 3. Perform Umrah in the month of Ramadan is equal to Hajj 4. Going to Masjid to learn/teach beneficial knowledge 5. Saying SubhanaLlah 33, AlhamduliLlah 33, Allahu Akbar 33, and then say La ilaha ill-Allah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahu’l-mulk wa lahu’l-hamd wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadir
I think it is very important to note that there is a schism of opinion and judgment in this issue. Both sides and proponents involve ulemmas of significant repute and standing in muslim community. It is difficult to conclude the matter overall with proper finality. It is best for all individuals to decide for themselves what they feel is best and is more inline. For myself, i feel both sides are not wrong and it shouldnt lessen how anyone views you for either not doing it or doing it, as long as the intention is purely for ALLAH. Appreciation to Sheikh Assim for bringing light and promoting discussion to this issue!
Some scholars say you can wipe over the face such as Sh. Bin Baz (rh), because those weak Hadith sections can seemingly be strengthened by the observation of wiping the hands over the face by some companions and some of the major taabieen. Imam Nawawi (rh)went as far as saying it is mustahabb. Wallaahu aalim.
Our Prophet said (ﷺ) “Whoever recites Ayatul Kursi immediately after each prescribed prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering Paradise except death.” Dont forget to recite Ayatul kursi before sleep Our Prophet (ﷺ) said, When you go to your bed, recite Ayatul Kursi and you will be protected by Allah, and no devil will come near you until morning.(5010) Narrated by al-Bukhari Take screenshot and share to earn reward, also copy and spread this message
Sir...What about a hadith of protecting evil eyes...? Prophet (pbuh) said " recite Sura Falaq & Naas... 3 times then blow into hand ✋ & wipe whole body...!
i never wiped my face after duaa until i noticed everyone at my school did it. I never understood why and still hesitated. This video cleared things up alhamdulillah. I will spread the word with my friends.
Assalom alekum Sheikh I have one favor from you if it's not make you upset hearing that kind of request please 🙏 Can you yourself refer to hadith source from where making that argument or statement would be really helpful. Cause I am sure some people not familiar with your work and scholar might question where the sheikh got his arguments from ? Thank you in advance
After salah, I usually wipe the face especially my forehead. I thought it was Sunnah. However, the other reason is to wipe the dust on the forehead because sometimes there's specs of dust on the praying mat, carpet or floor that got transferred.
There are 4 major mahdzab, there must be at least one mahdzab that encourages wiping face after dua... We can't say it wrong, just say it, it is not in my and my teachers teachinga...
Assalamu alaikum shiekh, i have a question that confuse me if its truth or not. Is it true that u need to recite qamat every time we pray salah alone at home? Or only recite qamat if theres 2 or many people performing salah
thing is when they do this, they thought it is a sunnah but its not. i do this also, its like a common reaction for me atleast after solat but i never thought this as a sunnah.
2:47 Sheikh mentions Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) reciting 3 Quls before going to bed. But aren't there 4 Quls, & if he really means 3 Quls, then which 3 out of the 4 Quls? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
WITH ALL RESPECT dear sheikh, why you wearing a Apple Watch instead of normal watch since the function of watch to show time and i strongly believe you use your Apple Watch to check time mostly.
Then should we make dua'a just hold out our hands then that's it. Once done making the Dua'a just put our bands in our pocket or go about our business either be by placing our hands to the side
Question, How to end the gesture of making dua, no one ever tells that, everyone only tells that don't wipe, sure, but how to end it? like should I close my hands like a book? or make a fist and put in my pocket? What exactly? tell me please 🥺
Assalam o Alaikom, sheikh, hope you are in a good health. I have a question regarding this concept. if we raised hands after salah for prayers then what to do after that.? there are so many duas after salah in each and every prayers, so it means we suddenly drop our hands after making cup of our hands. sorry but still am confused. please make a proper video on wiping our face after salah.
We do not wipe our face. We basically round off the dua by rounding our hands over the face. Why are you making an issue of this. Sorry to say you do this type of fitna every year during Ramadan. I really think if you concentrate more on feeding the poor and needy you will earn a lot of respect inshallah. I reapect you but your style of topics disturbs me.
I’m confused because there’s many hadith in Sahih al-bukhari and al-muslim saying that the Prophet peace be upon him used to wipe his face after making supplication. So are not all hadiths in some of the most trusted sources not reliable?
Salaam sheikh just a curious speculation would it be wrong if the person that was wiping their face are just naturally wiping their tears as many people making dua to allah do
What is the purpose of raising the hands then ? I understand it is Sunnah and the Prophet Sallalaho alyhi Wassalam did it, but nothing in Islam exists without a reason, what is the reason for raising the hands, some one earlier in the comments asked "what do u do with ur hands after dua"?
Subhanallah Alhamdulilah wa Allah O Akbar peace and blessings of Allah swt be upon all the prophets and the muslim ummah Ameen yah rabbil alameen ☝️ sunnah Al jamaah ❤️❤️❤️
Please encourage ummat about imaan, salah and other imp things which are left by most of the muslims. Don't let the ummat to indulge in the tabligh of these small things and gets confused among each others.
Jazakallah Shiekh. You have a very decent face and sweet tone. I have heard ulama talking about it. personally i some times do it and sometimes dont. it comes unintentionally. Please quote any Hadees if you know for satisfaction of our hearts.
now that youve learned about this you have to stop doing it otherwise you might be sinful. those that you see doing it already are not sinful because they dont know that what they are doing is wrong, but you learned today that it is so you should try your best to stop.
