Fabulous teaching, clear, no fuss, great advice and a voice that's nice to listen to... all last, I'm so fed up of all these trebbly tight throated voices we're subjected to these days. Long live the gentle relaxed voice. And thanks for the great wire sculpture tips!
Thank you for this simple and informative video. I am brand new to wire and this is the first video I have seen regarding it. You have helped me to not worry about how my first few projects will work!
Thank you because I am rubbish but my college teacher expects us to make whole ass insects now that we’ve used wire for three days. This was very helpful and I’ll be looking for the silver tape you used
So helpful! I’m a textile artist wanting to explore 3D sculptures. Your taping technique looks perfect. Can you share what type of wire you use? I’m in the US but guessing types and gauges are maybe universal? Thanks for sharing your wonderful tips and work.
A wire sculpture is hard for the eye to see, as the front and back merge. I think the tape tabs gives a much better look. If you don’t like the tape tabs you just twist on the tape completely. Darcy
@@darcystuff I was thinking the same thing, what size is the wire & the material it's made of. Sir, you are brilliant! Sending you good thoughts from Los Angeles!
My favourite at the moment is 0.9mm galvanised tie wire the best place to get in uk that I know is www.fhbrundle.co.uk/products/040203090__Galvanised_Wire_0_90mm_x_1_2kg_Coil_Tying_Wire
